I've seen bandaging cause agro before.

We had just started the Ossi fight in AQ20. One of the crystal clickers off in the corner started bandaging right when Ossi was pulled and before either tank could engage him. Ossi went flying off into the corner after him. Not a good way to start that encounter.

Yes. Not only that, but if you are unflagged and heal someone fighting a person of the opposite faction, you get flagged yourself. In an instance, overhealing a tank can pull aggro onto the healer. If you heal someone fighting a mob, you could become the target. It doesn't matter whether you use a spell or a bandage.

NO NO NO

First Aid is wonderful to have!

Just watch for how to use it. It's a wonderful thing to have though.

First aid is wonderful. Just use it on yourself or members of your own group, rather than just being helpful to strangers. Be carful, and don't overheal, and you generally won't draw aggro to yourself. Normally, you should leave healing to the healing classes, but if you are in an instance and the tank is close to death, use your bandages on him. He's all that's between you and that "THING" he's fighting. Tanks have ways of regaining aggro, so put a bit of trust into him, as well as a bit of healing.

I havent seen it aggro anything at all so far but ive heard it creates little aggro.

But overall First Aid is a great skill to have, more so for some classes than others.

It is actually less aggro than a heal that heals for the same.

Well, it is technically the same aggro, but its ticks up to an amount, so time diffueses the aggro.

Ok... now i know for sure

I was in strat at Ramstein and we were without a priest... i had aggro and we had no other healers in the group so i tanked until i had 500hp left.. then the other warrior took over and i started bandaging myself and aggroed immediately....

And the moral of the story: Dont Do Drugs.

Yes it does... download the mod 'threat meter 18.8 (for 2.0.1)'. I kept pulling aggro on Ony when she goes to phase 3 on my Lock. After using the mod, I noticed that dark pack (taking mana from my pet), and bandages cause huge threat. Now I know to wait till the MT has aggro before I heal/mana up :D

Lol - I never thought about the pets! I bet that would be a lot more useful than using health funnel for my 'lock pets, without costing me health as well!
