What is the best skill to use with tailoring??

nothing directly. If you want you can do disenchanting this way once you make your greens/blues you can disenchant them and sell the mats. This worked a bit better before the patch though where there wasn't a level requirement for disenchanting different items, but I guess if you do them at teh same time it could work out.

I personally would recommend picking up a gathering profession to make some money. You will not be making a lot of money with tailoring, you can make some stuff for yourself, but most of the time you will be grinding/buying mats just to skill up and no one really buys the crafted greens (from my experiences anyway).

Thanks!!! What about Skinning? Will this be ok??

yeah, should be good. allows you to sell what you skin kill. grant it the lower levels skins don't sell for much/at all, but you can just vendor them if you truly desire and then keep going. when you get to heavy/rugged leather you can make some money. I personally have had good luck so far with mining, although my character is a lvl 60 so running around on an epic mount made it a bit easier, especially in lower level places to get my mining leveled where I do not need to worry about aggro, but any gathering profession will be good for you. do not forget to pick up fishing as well, there is a lot of money to be made there.

I have found that a gathering skill is best with tailoring. enchanting isnt the best , of course it can make money for you in the long run , it just takes too long to start off. herb is prob the best gathering skill, its a big money maker, many of my freinds has paid for armor sets and mountsby picking flowers. tailoring isnt a money maker though, its good for you but not really for anyone else. at least not until you get a high lvl tailoring. im a 260 tailor and just now making blue items and they sell to vendors for an average price of 1g and ahalf , but i have sold a couple item for around 5g.these are the prices for shattered hand, not sure if they are different from any other server, but im sure they dont vary that much.

I took mining. Everyone needs mined materials, its pretty easy $. Even more so when jewel-crafting goes live.
