Go Gnomish, Get all the trinkets and crap. Then switch to goblin so you can make all the bombs and stuff.

No point in doing what you just said, Loomy, because if you want to go Gnomish after going Goblin (or vice versa) you have to start you're engineering over again. So either dump a lot of money redoing that or just choose one.
