Shaman leatherworker ?Follow

Well see, I picked leatherworking with my shaman alt a little time ago, and I was wondering if y'all think it's worth it for a shaman to take it to 300. I guess I'd spec in Dragonscale because it's mail and the special patterns don't seem too bad to me.

My server was opened somewhat recently so I'll probably be one of the first Dragonscale leatherworkers anyway so I guess that would be kind of cool... but, I am a bit addicted to PvP, and as such would like to pick up engineerig in the future. Do you think it'll be worth the trouble with leatherworking or should I just put it aside and start on eng right away ?

My main does mining for some extra income so having that covered, I thought maybe I'd level leatherworking to 300 and then drop skinning for engineering, since my guild has quite a lot of resource-gatherers so they could skin materials if they were needed in the future.
