I had level 150 mining and 95 BS and i though that it was hard for me to level BS up and since i wasnt getting any cash from it and also that im level 42 it sounds pathetic so i went Enchanting instead of BS and kept mining. I got my enchanting up to 100 and i was wondering if i should stay with it or go with BS again and become a weapon smith. When has anyone heard of a warrior enchanterif any of u warriors enchant plz tell me. Also should i stay with enchanting i mean i like it and everything but dont warriors need to be BS and mining. It seems odd but is it ok to be an enchanter i like enchanting my own stuff and i even have firy enchant formula. Last questions- When will i start making money with enchanting and also when will i start with BS. Should i stay with enchanting or go BS. And wat makes more money . I know this seems noobish but plz just help me with this problem ty.

P.S lol a lot of writing but its importan plz read all of it

I would recommend looking through the guide in my signature if you're looking for ways to make money.

You won't start making money with enchanting until you're almost maxed and have some of the more sought after formulas. These formulas can be very expensive to buy in the auction house, or very time consuming to farm for or rep grind for.

It is by no means a quick way to earn cash, unless you're picking up the skill just to melt items and sell the result.

Don't do blacksmithy, period end of story. You will only be disillusioned in the end. Every thread about making money with blacksmithy features someone saying they make money selling X, but all it takes is for two blacksmiths to try to sell stuff and the market goes down the toilet. If you ignore my advice, you will regret it. I promise.

Enchanting generally does not make money unless you have 300 level rare enchants and like spamming sales pitches and negotiating with customers who constantly misunderstand. If you are not a born salesman, you will be frustrated.

On the other hand, if you develop a clientele by providing good service, you could make a fortune on repeat business. What you need to do is grind rep with the Thorium Brotherhood, Argent Dawn, and Cenarion Circle to get the elite enchants they offer, plus run the instances ad nauseum to get the rare drops so you have the enchants people need for raiding.

In the end, you will make all your money from the infinite amount of grinding you do to get there. Disenchanting high level weapons to get shards will probably pay better than trying to sell enchants.

I do enchanting for myself because it gives me an edge in PvP and I can provide a service to my guild to be popular. I only sell enchants to people who ask.

Since enchanting is a money sink, choosing a gathering profession can be a good idea. Mining sells pretty well, and herbalism and skinning are steady too.

Tailoring could be good if you are a caster.

Engineering might be useful for PvP stuff.
