Ive been trying to figure out what alts and professions will be the most profitable. Currently i have a tailor or two and an alchemist or two which I keep for the timers on mooncloth and arcanite. I know there will be a few different mooncloth/spellcloth timers based on speciality. However, has anybody seen any cooldowns for a new arcanite type transmute or anything else I've overlooked?

Primal Essence transmutes are 24 hour cooldowns. Transmute Earthstorm Diamond and Skyfire Diamond (vendor recipe from Thrallmar / Honor Hold at Honored reputation) are the new 48 hour cooldowns and likely to be highly sought after.
EDIT: Not sure if you were interested in non-alchemy long cooldowns. Enchanting has two new 48-hour cooldowns, Prismatic Sphere and Void Sphere.

I am sorta looking at profitable alt trade skill cooldowns.
right now, arcanite and mooncloth are the big ones.
It seems tailoring will have some...I see the enchanting ones but am unsure as to the value of the produced items as the recipe lists are incomplete.
I don't see anything special in blacksmithing which boggled my mind.

I'd imagine you can make some decent money selling shard bags and various reagent bags for professions
