You can't.

Only high-end enchants make money. Under ones that require 290+ the only ones I regularly sell for profit are weapon enchants. Fiery and Icy sell OK, +3-+9 damage also sell. Demonslyaing not so much. Once you get your skill upto 290+ then the grind and rare ones sell OK. +15/25 Agi from the Timbermaws sells, +22 int from TB sells, Crusader from the Scalet Spellbinders (?) sell, as does lifestealing from Scholo. Really big profit can be gotten from the BoP recipes found on Raids, +30 spell power, XXXXpower on gloves, that kind of thing.

It is not all doom and gloom though. At lower levels the profit is in Die-enchanting, or DE, green items. With this you get undesirable greens and DE them and either keep the mats to level your skill or sell them on the AH. The good thing about selling these mats on the AH is they have no deposit, so if they don't sell try again. I have found there are three effective ways to get items to DE.:
1) Buy cheap on the AH. For this to be easier get Auctioneer and Enchantrix addons, investigate the Scan and Enchantrix percentless /50 functions.
2) Solo lowbie dungeons. at Level 36 you may be a bit low, but take empty bags and see how far through the Deadmines you can get. DE everything that wouldn't sell (so don't DE the defias armour drops).
3) If you are in a guils or have a crafting alt get them to make things for you. For instance if you solo DM you will get a lot of cloth. You could pass that onto a tailor who could make you things to DE.

Hope that makes some kind of sense.

How you make money with enchanting... You hit 'c' go to the skills tab, select enchanting, then hit the little red button there to drop enchanting. Then you stroll over to the mining, skinning, or herbalism trainer and pick that up.

Point is, enchanting is nothing but a money sink-hole until you're 300. Even when you DO get 300, you have to compete against all the other enchanters that are trying desperatly to recoup the money they lost during leveling. Even then, unless you have some rare/hard-to-get enchants, there will probably be someone willing to enchant something free, if it gives them a skill point and the person has the mats to give to the enchanter.

The only other way I can think of to make money doing enchanting is to do what the above player said and just DE everything and try to sell the mats. However, at least on my server, that market is pretty flooded.

Gathering professions is a much better way to go, unless you're trying to be a guild enchanter for a raid guild or something. I have enchanting on my priest, and I never intend to do it on another char ever again.

Making money with enchanting is easy--pick any gathering skill you want (mining, skinning, herbalism) as your second profession and sell what you collect on the auction house. You will make tons of money to support your enchanting habit.

! Some haters on the Enchanting! Unfortunately there is only one way I know of that makes money from enchanting. You grind a place like the deadmines and disenchant everything but what you want to keep. When you are in a city, use a macro to offer enchants. Don't count on anyone answering though. Another souce of mats would be the cheapest green stuff in the ah. Don't buy stuff more than 20s. You at least maintaina a money balance that way.

I had my mount money by lvl 38 just from enchanting :)
Of course i had fiery then and it was a fairly new server, so there wasnt a million enchanters...

This was w/o a gathering skill.

Im not saying this is better money early on than 2 gathering skills so dont come in saying "OH YA WELL I BOUGHT MY MOUNT AT LVL 18 W/ __________ and ________." Im just saying its doable at low levels, but very time consuming.

the only low lv enchant ive succusefully made money with is beast slaying but that stops after a certain lv and prices depend on servers for some reason on my server for example i was able to sell one for up to 5g no joke but now im lucky to get 1g its kinda like the stock market

Lately, I haven't been buying disenchanting stuff for less than 1G. If you only buy the cheap stuff, all you'll get is tons of strange dust and a handful of other things. To make real money, you have to know the market and purchase items that can be disenchanted profitably into higher level mats.

im currently 295 enchanter, have few enchants in bank that require skill of 300.... but im having a real tough time now because that damn arcanite rod is so exspensive to make... this is where you take a big dive with currency same spot im at, you can make money easily with enchanting by soloing instances for greens, blues from boss drops, and disenchant everything instead of vendoring it or selling to pc.
