Go to tanaris shore line and search for the stonescale eel pools. Fish those and sell on the AH, or convert to oils via alch and sell on the AH for more!

Y'know, I answered this very same question yesterday in another thread, and the answer is also in the fishing section of the sticky, but I guess that you just don't have the brains to actually look for an answer - you have to be spoon-fed. I'm getting sick and tired of people not reading the posts, and you, my friend, posted this STUPID question at just the wrong time.

So, why is it a stupid question?

BECAUSE IF YOU HAD READ THE STICKY, YOU WOULDN"T HAVE HAD A NEED TO POST IT!

Next, Why do I say you have no brains?

BECAUSE IF YOU DID, YOU WOULD HAVE LOOKED TO SEE IF THE QUESTION HAD ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED.

Sorry, but this just got on my nerves.

Okay, here's an example of a bad post. Let's see what's wrong (look, he got an answer, I don't feel bad about hijacking it...besides, folks will just get Mike roiled up if they don't learn from this).

Problem: Incomplete information. What is your fishing skill? What is your faction? What zones do you frequent currently? Things like this may influence the answer.

Problem: "plz post soon!" This is an active board. You don't have to prompt folks to answer.

Problem: This question is answered quite adequately in the FAQ. If you're at level 47, your questions may still be considered the type of basic info you'll find in the FAQ.

Problem: The one word title, "fish" doesn't give much of a clue what your topic is (other than it may, indeed, involve fish at some point).

Nits: Punctuation, capitalization and spelling do matter. When I see a run-on sentence like the above, as a father I just want to ground you off the computer until you get your grades up.

Why this matters: People have spent some of their own time and effort to draft some really good FAQ stickies that cover aspects of the game better than its manufacturer. Some folks do only read this board occasionally so useless threads will bump better ones off the front page. Coming across as incredibly impatient, in both post style and content, will decrease the help you might otherwise enjoy.

Worse of all, it prompts long-winded lectures from bored old men.

ROFLcopter! This made me laugh.

/agree with ohmike & TheNuckel. At 30 posts, the OP should know better. (unless this post was his first one) It would be an improvement if Allakhazam could restrict posting in a forum until after a new poster has read the stickies. (A quiz could be included to make sure they at least skim the information)

Lol - with a link in the FAQ to an automatic quiz-taking macro!

FTFY. But yes, these types of posts are time-wasters, so "bored" might be fine for other old men.

The real funny thing about this post is that just answering the question would have taken less time than the response he got from me - it's only three zones, after all, and how long does it take to type in "Azhara, Feralas, Tanaris", anyhow? Maybe I just can't abide gross negligence on the part of the poster, or perhaps it was his spelling/punctuation problems that finally broke my cool.

Perhaps I could also have instructed him on the fact that he can also type in "Stonescale Eel" into the white box on the left (called the "search box") and gotten all sorts of neat info on the Eels, including where to fish. Was not telling him that negligence on my part, or should I have assumed he had basic notions of how this website works?
