Illusion DustFollow

#1 Oct 18 2006 at 10:55 AM Rating: Decent
I put some time and money into rasing my Enchanting to 300, and now i discover that all my enchants worth a salt, require illusion dust. Illusion dust seems to be hard to come by due to it being kind of costly in the AH and i have yet to find a easy to make tailoring recipe that breaks down into it.

So i am asking for some more experinced enchaters, if there are some somewhat easy ways to aquire Illusion dust, and other high level enchanting comps.

I get quite a bit of illusion dust, and make gold at the same time.

Just keep DE'ing random drops and stockpiling the mats. You may lose out on some money from AH'ing the drops, but you can still sell the mats if you get strapped for cash. Illusion dust was probably the slowest to build up a supply of, but over time you will.

I now have 2 stacks of every greater essence, 2 stacks of every shard, large and small (except nexus, of coarse), and 2-4 stacks of every dust. It takes time and patience, but whenever I want an enchant now, I have plenty of mats to work with. And if I ever have an 'OMG I NEED MONEY NOW' emergency, I can sell a few pretty quickly in the trade channel.
