The "make a christmas wish" Event^^Follow

Hey shiva^^
well christmas is just around the corner, and the negativity is still in full swing.

This may be an online game and all, but we still have friends and good people playing this game.

Well, The StariKnights is going to host our first," Make a wish"
event this year, and i think its something we can all get into.

Ofcourse everyone wants that item that will totally blow your mind for christmas and is 300million gil, well im sorry, your probably not going to get it...
BUT
why not wish for the next best thing.

First off, there are two types of presents someone can get you, these are...
1. An item can be be purchased or quested.
2. Help doing a quest / mission. EX. Limit Break 1, rank 6

Now the deal is, if your willing to get, you should be able to spread the christmas cheer and give a little also.

The stariknights is willing to spend up to 900mil on items that people would like to have, but no more than 900mil. The rest, I hope will be the people nice enough to help out and get someone what they badly need for christmas.

Now, Post your name, Level, Item or quest/mission desired and price of items on this thread. and Please, if your willing to give a little of your time to help with the cause, please post that also, it would be a huge help and extremely appreciated.

You may only post one item of choice, and its must not be so expensive that 2 of these items will totally deplete our funds.

Im willing to take some of my gil and give to others because i dont want all of shiva to be all grouchy come christmas. If you have never givin a present before , try and give this time, giving and receiving may heal shiva this christmas, if only temporarily.I want to make my last month on shiva count the most and i dont mind spending all of my gil, and usuing alot of time to make this cause work. I love shiva and i want to make it a better place if everyone will let me.

Thanks to all that think my idea is worth your time and effort^^ i will post the next half of the instructions in a weeks time, thats about the time christmas holidays start.

This is one of the coolest threads I have seen. I wish I had the gil to be able to get some people things for Christmas, but I just don't have enough cash flow. I have been trying to get O kote, Scorpion Harness, and Vassago's scythe for friends and I started a linkshell to help people with missions and all that stuff. A simple Marry Xmas message would be fine for a Xmas present, but if there is anyway you could help me with items for friends it would be great. If not, its nothing that I could expect from a complete stranger. Hope you have a great holiday and I think this is a great thread. Marry Xmas Shiva, hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday.

Nice to see people doing nice things again! YAY! If you need any help from a 59 whm let me know. As you remember I was in StariKnights for a short period (gave everyone juice and pies) lmao! So I know you all are REALLY nice people and I'd glad to help you all out!

pppssssttt... my x-mas wish is erase 59 whm without erase /sigh lol I wouldn't expect anyone to buy it for me cause that is asking WAAAAYYYY too much. But if we could get a BCNM run together that would be GREAT!

id take mission 7-2 for sandy or a femina subligar. ive been trying to desynth 1 for cashmere thread to get a sha'ir manteel made but its not working out so well. im 24 mil in the hole cause of it. considering the subligar is 8 mil i dont hold much hope of that appearing in my DB. the thought of buying someone what they want for christmas is a great idea though!

O.o; are you serious? lol. cause if thats the case you could contact the JP player Nene and just buy me a manteel outright. XD. its about 45 mil i think. if... if you did that i would dedicate several weeks of in game time to helping others in your name and you would become immortal in my alla sig and my in game bazaar comment lol.

PS if several weeks of helping people sounds like a lot, you have no idea how badly ive wanted this item for the past several years XD

I'm still going with my christmas wish from the last thread :P

My item I would like would be an Hauberk (3.1 million last I saw)

If thats too expensive I'd be more then happy with a Applo Staff (last I saw 1.6 million)

What can I say, I'm expensive :P

If you need any help doing hunts I can see what I can do. I'm not very good at hunting NM's as I generally don't have the patience for it but I'm perfectly willing help.

Only one thing I'd want, and that's for Shimmer to start playing again. She left because all the HNM drama got to her...so much that she couldn't go anywhere without being pulled into it. Then her best friend in-game went to play WoW, so she followed. She doesn't seem to like it too much, but she's so afraid of coming back.

Before she left, she was saving up for a Noble's Tunic. That's about the time I started seriously camping nms--to help her pay for it. Then she left and the items I got stayed in my mog house. I've got no use for them, so I've loaned them out to people who can use them more than myself.

I wouldn't ask for a tunic for her, but maybe if you know someone who'd be willing to trade a few nice items and gil for one. There's never any on the ah anymore, so the price keeps going up and up.

Along the same lines, Stari I'm glad you re-found your home. Thank you for using FU as a temporary home until you felt comfortable returning to your guys :). It was an honor having you.


edit: Any questing you guys may need, I can probably help you with it. I've got two jobs, so it'll have to be late at night...but if it's something that you really need, I will gladly put my name in to help.

Stari, I think what you are doing is great. My christmas wish is simple; you let me help out if you ever need it.

Oh, and if anyone here needs Sandy 8-2 and would like to get a run going, /tell me in-game at Mszsliccc. That's M S Z...SLICCC. And only on the weekends.

I see ppl have posted about sandy missions i wouldnt mind helping with as i can enter all bcs being rank 10 and the bcs are mostly easy.

You know what would be hillarious? If all the NA HNM on shiva actually put aside their differences and banded together. You have any clue how easy it would be to dominate things like hnm spawns, shadow lord, AV, etc? Need 64 people to show? How about 168?


But that would never work. Eventually *someone* would want to be the leader and everyone they didn't like would get kicked out.

ill be available a good portion of this week and this weekend to help out. i have some dynamis action and a CoP static but i dont plan on leveling hardly at all in the next week or 2. hit me up if you need anything from a 75brd. and sophus youre totally right. it would be absolutely pimp if the NA LSs banded together for 1 day to take down all the HNMs we could get our grubby mitts on + Jorm, Vrtra, Tiamat, and Fafhogg. i think the JPs would have a collective siezure if we got our crap together for one whole day ^^

Ayazz, I think they'd have more than a seisure. They'd be like "How the HELL did the NA HNMLS do that before us???" All in JP, of course.

Hmmm, I wonder how you say "WTF" in japaneese...because that's what would spam through the screen when they saw the 200 NA at the Tiamat spawn.
