Hello everyone! My friends and I are starting a new dynamis linkshell. I am posting the rules on this and other forums. Our first run is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 10PM EST/7pm PST - Sunday October 2 2AM GMT tentatively in Sandoria. If you are interested and agree to abide by the rules, please send kamalii an ingame tell, show up at the appointed time, and/or send me a private message. Hope to see you there!

Rules are clear and concise to avoid drama and encourage fair play:

1. General Rules: In order for all members to have a good time as well as get some AF, make some gil, clear cities, and enhance your gaming and teamwork skills, please follow these basic rules. First offenses will be warned, second offenses will result in probation, third offenses will result in permanent linkshell ban.
a. If you have never gone to a dynamis before, please zone into Xarcabard at a lvl 65 job at rank 6 to receive the cutscene.
b. If you have multiple jobs over 65, please allow LS leaders to decide which job is needed most at each dynamis run. That will NOT change your AF lotting whatsoever.
c. You are expected to bring you’re a-game to dynamis. No skill up on bad weapons, please wear good armor, and come prepared with 2-5 hours of food. There will be NO AFKing during dynamis. And NO autofollow.
d. Please bring required medications: At all times, have echo drops and poison potions, Windhurst requires Holy water as well.
e. You will do what you are told. You will attack what you are told to attack. You will NOT go off on your own. You will NOT leave camp unless you are the puller, or you are told to leave the camp. You will turn autotarget off. If you are told to do something different than past dynamis, you will do what you are told. You can argue tactics with LS leaders AFTER dynamis, but not DURING.
f. If you are a WHM, you will have reraise up AT ALL TIMES. You will take ANY raise that is offered to you. It is HIGHLY recommended that you invest in a reraise hairpin. If you are told by LS leaders to die, you will die, closely to camp and as quickly as possible. Any attempt at heroics are often a simple waste of time. If you wander off and pop a bunch of stuff the group can not handle, you will NOT train back to camp. You will die in place and hope we get to you before your timer runs out.
g. There will be NO DoT spells cast WHATSOEVER. There will be NO meleeing of statues. NONE.
h. There will be NO DRAMA in this LS. We will work as a team.
i. Specific city strategies will be discussed prior to entering dynamis.
j. If it is determined by ls leaders that you are not following instructions and not contributing to the run, you will be warped out of dynamis. If this happens, please do not re-enter. We will discuss options with you after the dynamis run is over.
2. Currency lotting rules:
a. All currency will be lotted by linkshell officers. At the end of dynamis runs, that currency will be sold for a set price. There will be a 10% discount for members that wish to purchase currency from the linkshell for Relic Weapon upgrading only. Purchasing from linkshell for a discount then reselling will be considered a bannable offense.
b. All net proceeds (after reimbursement from the hourglass purchase) from currency will be distributed to linkshell members, according to the rules posted below. These rules are subject to change and modification prior to entering dynamis, and will be announced in the linkshell, should that occur.
c. After payment of the hourglass, all gil from currency will be equally distributed among linkshell members that attended that dynamis run.
d. If a member receives AF2 on given run, they will not receive a share of the gil. Rather, the gill will be evenly distributed amount members not receiving AF.
e. Any LS member more than 10 minutes late to appointed dynamis will be penalized 10% of proceeds. Penalty proceeds will be kept in the LS bank to fund future runs, should the need arise.

3. AF Lotting Rules:
a. Please NOTE: The rules only apply to cities only. Once enough members have access to Beaudecine and Xarcabard, a priority lotting system will be implemented for THOSE areas only based on attendance in the minor cities.
b. First priority lotting goes to those that can wear the AF. Any jobs that can wear the AF, you are allowed to lot. If you wish to lot on AF in given city, please make sure you have confirmed you can wear with linkshell officers prior to entering dynamis. You only need to verify this once, since LS officers will keep track of which AFs you receive and which jobs you can wear.
c. You are only allowed to receive one AF per dynamis as primary lot. If you receive one AF, you must pass on another AF you can wear for others to lot. You can chose to pass AF should you wish to wait for another job AF to drop.
d. If no one can wear AF that drops, or all have received on primary lot, secondary lot will be for those who are close to being able to wear and have not received.
e. If none of the above conditions are met for AF, free lotting will be declared. Keep in mind that if you lot and receive AF, you will NOT receive dynamis currency proceeds for that run.
f. Beaudecine and Xarcabard lotting rules: You are allowed to pick 2 jobs to lot on in these two areas. When AF drops from this area, priority will be given to groupings published prior to attendance. You must have attended the two prior dynamis runs, and a total of 7 runs with the linkshell to be eligible for af lotting in these areas. Once you receive one af from either of these areas, your attendance count for next AF from this area resets. You will also not receive currency proceeds for the next 2 dynamis areas after receiving af from either of these areas.

I just wanted to let you know, the NA linkshells plan dynamis with each others. I'm not sure where exactly they do it, but if you could send a ingame tell to Chikami (leader of SaF) or Makore(leader of Kuponet) they could let you know. I'm sorry if you already knew this, but it's very important to all of us, because only one shell can do a dynamis area at any given time, and it really sucks to get everyone together and find out people are in there already.

Hi there, and welcome! Yes, we are very interested in you. Can you make it October 1, 10pm EST/7pm PST? Our first dynamis will be Sandoria, and we will be going over the rules there. See you there!

You may run into trouble with that plan as there is currently a run scheduled for Sandoria that is likely not to finish by 10PM.

Only one group can be in one area at a time.

It's one of the many shotsighted mistakes SE has made with Dynamis. It SHOULD be working like Ballista, with a schedule set within the game. But until then (or until a rumor I've heard proves to be true), we have to make the best of it.

That's a good starting point no doubt. But never assume that it is in fact 'all' LS. I know of three who have runs scheduled for this week between now and saturday who do not use that site.

But usually it all works out as long as everyone communicates and get's the point across.

uuhh...No offense, but I did not come into this unprepared. I know about the calendar, even registerred at the site, but can not post on it at all. I checked there to make sure there wasn't dynamis scheduled for that time.

And I know that dbsdynamis has their dynamis planned 3 hours earlier than this. But, I also know that if we start gathering for the first dynamis, it will take an easy 30 minutes to explain rules, roles, answer questions, make sure we have the proper jobs and have people job change if needed, etc. etc. Given that the MAX time you can be in dynamis is 210 minutes, and a 30 minute prep time to start, there should be little conflict.
