Crystal Trading - anyone willing?Follow

I've recently found little time to sit around and wait for fire weather to farm fire clusters for my crafting and it's becoming quite expensive to keep buying them to keep up with guild points and skilling up. I was just wondering if other people who are in need of other types of crystals may be willing to trade. I understand that fire are some of the more expensive ones and am willing to do a 2 or 3 to 1 trade. If you are interested, hit Tif with a tell and we can see if we can work something out to help each other.

I think Tiffie is referring to the 'infinite Delivery Box' trick- where you can have a whole lot of items in your DB.

Basically, send yourself 8 items, go check you DB, so they arrive. You can then send youself 8 more items. Now's the trick- you go back to your DB, still showing the original 8 items- instead of taking them out, you simply hit 'Return'. This sends them back to you. After returning all 8 items, if you pull up your DB menu again, you'll see the 2nd batch of 8 items you sent in your DB. Then you go back to the NPC and send 8 more items (sent box cleared since the 2nd batch of 8 hit your DB).

You can just keep repeating this- not sure if its infinitely or if they cap it. I currently have about 30 items in delivery box limbo. Great way to get some extra storage- just can get a little annoying having to 'return' several DBs worth of stuff to yourself to get to something that was just recently sent.

Yeah Jaf, that's what I do. I think it's capped somewhere around 100 items or something. I usually don't go above 10 pages of inbox so I never hit cap. So far the biggest issue I have is sometimes sending stuff back to other people thinking I'm sending it back to myself.

I've got a few stacks of fire crystals sitting on a mule i'll send to ya since nobody else seems to want em. Send me Agrathorn a /tell and i'll mule em over for ya.

Once again, being a BLM pays off in this area as well. BLM 75 can solo all the elementals in sky(some arent worth the effort) and a fire cluster (sometimes 2) always drops, along with KS, BS, and crystals. Dual-BLMing up in sky is awesome too, chain 4 (sometimes 5) with even more drops.
