Hello, all :)

I'm a mage, and I never go anon. So, obviously, I get all raise - port - D2 requests when I'm in the region. I'm not generally THAT busy that I can't help you, and I start running to your camp after your call, and I gave you an estimated arrival delay.

Now, two recent stories.

1- I'm at the crag in La-Theine going to Davoi. You ask for a raise near Selbina. Ok, 7 minutes run, 1 min cast and /bow /cheer /farewell, 7 min run back ; around 15 of my play time because your buddy forgot to HP in Selbina.

Now, when I arrive, no corpse ? Please, if you get another random Raise before I finally come, is this really that hard to /tell ?

2- Nearing Sea Serpent Grotto : polite tell after check for a D2, from a lvl 27 melee, who was expeing there with no return tools. Since I'm RDM, I can't ; and my blm is too low. So, I tell him that I can't, but Norg is close : I offer to teleport, or escort to Norg for him to switch job and death warp.
"Holla, please" - Sure, let me change job, I'll be back as Whm soon.
Run to Norg, switch job, get lead of my PT, run back to Jungle trying to invite ... to invite nobody, because now /sea shows him in jeuno.

Really, that's not fair. I understand you received any other help passing by you ; but please, let know the other people who accepted to run to you ? That's a cheap tell, we still are in your recent answer list.

I'm with Sirem. I got sick of spending money and making people who were ready wait to go out of my way to help someone who only disappeared when I got back without a word that it got discouraging. If I'm passing through I'll be happy to help. Heck, a lot of times when I'm bored I'll fish in areas to put me close to areas where I can randomly help raise parties or whatever. But I stopped going way out of my way to raise or teleport someone because of too many incidents like yours.

Very True.

Please send a /tell to someone who is coming to help you if you no longer require their assistance. This will let the helper know their assistance is no longer required and they can continue on their pre-schedule task without wasting any additional time.
