My storyFollow

Well, I stopped playing FFXI around January/February and started playing WoW. I eventually got to level 60, recieved my epic mount, etc. and am kinda bored with the game.

Nothing is really being added to WoW that is going to make it "ground breaking" anymore, and quite frankly the PvP is terrible.

I've gone through every instance there is (except BWL) and have come to realize that WoW has become really...really...boring.

I had originally quit FFXI because of how slow leveling was and how little the PvE had to offer, but looking back at how much fun I had playing my Drk, I really want to come back >_<

For those of you that have been playing FFXI for awhile now, what do you play for? Why do you keep playing? Would you suggest that I come back? e_e;

I would suggest not to come back at all. I love the game, but there are better things in life to be doing.

But game wise, this game is a challenge, and encourages a strong community. Too many games pit PvP and people become rude and beligerant. I prefer this game because I actually make friends, and everyone is willing to help.

Plus all FF rock.

I play because it's fun. It's a tough game, but extremely rewarding when you finish something. Ya know how some people cried when Aeris **** in FFVII? I cried when I got my Eldieme Necropolis Coffer Key >_>...shutup, I spent over 24 hours(cumulative), 6000 exp, 20k gil, and 9 runs before I got mine.

Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. I've thought about it for awhile and have decided to come back to FFXI. Of course, it might be awhile because I need to reinstall it and get all of the updates e_e;

..That and call SE and see if my characters havent been deleted (apparently they made it 12 months until deletion instead of 3).

When I do come back, and if my character is still there, I'll be playing my 30DRK/29MNK/15WAR/15THF, Necare.
