I hate Ark Angels... but if someone wanna do it xD i'll go:)
PLDs can keep hate in several ways. If they don't want to rest but save up TP for Spirits Within.. well, ok. They still need to rely on some MP for the one or two fights in between where they won't have 300% TP to use. Refusing to rest, spending ALOT of MP + requiring Haste from RDM or PLD to build 300% TP though... that's a sign of a bad PLD. before level 56-57 or whenever PLDs gets Spirits Within - in my opinion they should always rest when possible, since a regular WS doesn't really make out that much hate, compared to two ticks with dark staff = Flash + Cure III (If refreshed at least).
I like Elfgod. I don't know him that well, but in my opinion he's always polite when I talk to him. Last night I went to help my friend out with Beadeaux (spelling lol) coffer and Elfgod stayed until party disbanded even if he got the first coffer key and found a chest just one minute after getting the key. Even if we were enough people to go on without any real problems, although... links were pretty nasty to deal with and we had one 1/3rd-wipeout of our 10-11 people alliance.
As for Sultan, as Unctgtg mentioned as a leech. I guided him through RNG flag quest and gave him some advice on cooking synths - and after that I've kinda used him as a mule sending me tortillas and other cheap cooking ingredients and he's never complained. Rather, he's pressed the fact that he'd love to do more for me - and if he didn't get it right the first time (e.g. bought two stacks instead of three) he insists on warping back and buy the last stack and send it to me. I see that as a trustworthy, loyal and humble player that really cares for my well-being. The way he expressed how much he appreciated my help even though I never did much for him other than giving him occasional advice - makes me believe that Sultan deserves help -even though he forgot to say "thanks a bunch, guys" in this particular incident.
I don't think he meant to be a jerk about that AF3. Maybe he was very happy and got so excited that he just warped out and started /tell'ing people that he finally got it. Sounds weird, yes, but when you finally get what you want it's hard to foresee if you react in a way that's charming or nauseating. I doubt that Sultan TRIED to be an ***, even though - if Unctgtg is right - he didn't make himself look very good in that situation.

Speaking of crappy PLD's...
Last night I joined a party that didn't have a WHM. That would be fine under normal circumstances since as a RDM/BLM I can heal just fine (and I actually could use the skill-ups). However, the party wanted to go to Bibiki and kill gobs. I informed them that without a WHM there would be no Barfira, and that can be very dangerous if a bomb is involved...
They didn't care, so I said whatever and went with them. In the first hour there were 4 deaths...all from bombs...and all because there was no Barfira. They seemed to see the problem then, so they resigned themselves to focusing on the Caloblepas instead of the gobs. That seemed to be working out well. I had 4 people to refresh, 2 people to haste, and balanced those spells with dispels/enfeebs/cures as quickly as I could cast. I didn't have a problem keeping my MP up. In addition to refresh we had a bard with Ballad I & II and I switch to a Royal cloak when resting in my parties.
The problem was the PLD...Klife...he turned into a ****** little girl near the end. The last fight he had gotten down to orange, so as soon as my current cast was finished, I healed him. He lived, all was fine until he started whining because my MP was so high (yes, high). He assumed I wasn't casting enough, so I told him to check the log and he'd see the amount of casting I was doing. He then decided to warp himself to Jeuno and disband party. Of course, he was the leader so his nOObness broke everyone apart.
I guess I shouldn't say he was bad as a PLD necessarily, just a bad player overall. I would recommend avoiding him if you see him around.

Just Reading this Topic, Anyone who leaves a PT Mid-Fight, has issues w/ Teamwork. If you are in a Bad Pt, and it's just not Working, Try to find a Replacement, and Leave.

OK. u all said on elfgod and just bashed him on the whole server. Really i saw this is a useless post to try and bash some1 just to get back @ them. I know elfgod he was a LS mate and i have lvled with him often from 30-54 and i have never had a problem with him. He has always been polite, helpful. and a wonderful tank who has alwasy help make a crappy pt much better. Yea every1 has a off day and R/L gets in the way from time to time (which isn't always a bad thing.) U give him a chance and he will prove this thread wrong. Invite elfgod give him a chance. I have pted with a very crappy tank like OMG ima kill u bad, i gave that tank a second break and he proved me wrong and i wouldn't mind inviting him anymore
BTW................ DUDE get off of unc's case man. He gave u an exapmle of a tank that fights without resting and all u did is jump on his case b/c he said the word static. Btw owen wtf is ur problem. u always follow unc's post just to try to bash him. hmmm. some1 is a obsesive. Btw yes u may think unc may come off as some1 that love attension but really he isn't. i known unc for about a yr now and he is always helpfull. yes people have said he has done bad things but not ever1 has a clean slate.
U all say he is the biggest gil seller b/c thats ur only way to explain his gil. I have personaly farmed with him and i have seen how he has made so much money. He even spent 4+ hrs with me to help farm and get better equipment when i was under lvl 50. He has always helped me and i can never thank him enough for all he has done.

Easy thing with unctghdhgdhejwhatever is that his rating is usually low enough to get filtered out, or you just auto-skip what he says as it's not worthwhile anyway.
