Sea Horror AnticsFollow

Everyone knows his name well. He is the dreaded beast of the seas that can haunt dreams - or maybe at least your death ratio. Anyways today I was heading home to Windhurst via the Selbina - Mhuara ship, only to have Sea Horror pop right off the bat. I panicked and ran; along with a crowd of about twenty other people. After a plethora of sneak spells went off (which I had naught of at the time), I proceeded to -carefully- go back to fishing. Anyways, about halfway through the ride, I noticed from the corner of my eye, a Galka (hiding within the confines of the captain's helm I might add) with his boomerang out. I totally flipped and screamed out, "OMG!" right as I saw "##### ranged attack missed." Then, the Sea Horrors name goes purple as it starts to growl...

Thus, waiting as it disappeared up the stairs on the opposite side, I escaped with a few others downstairs. While down there, I heard, "Sea Horror hits ##### for 4## damage." "Sea Horror defeats #####." The Galka was dead. While a bunch of people laughed at this - including me (I thought the poor bloke didn't know it could come into the helm) we then heard "Sea Horror hits ###### for 3## damage." "Sea Horror hits ###### for 3## damage." "Sea Horror defeats ######." "###### falls to level 39." And by this time, I was in tears from all the laughter. It was soooooooo funny! I feel bad for both of them, but I couldn't help myself! XD

Later, after the Galka was revived, he told us that he knew that would happen, but also knew it would make for a good laugh (though he didn't mean for anyone else to get hurt). He was absolutely right and I saluted him for his sacrifice.

Sea Horror is awesome. :)

That thing completly pwns people :/

It got Elysdragon the other night when someone was luring it around. A few of us teamed up on it, but couldn't kill it before the whole 1.5 minutes was up before we docked XD. We had WHM68/THF75/MNK(don't know the exact level)

Soloing it is hard since it uses 100-Fists halfway through the battle.

I once killed the Sea Horror solo.

I was fishing on the boat when something kept poking me in the back of the head. After a few minutes I got mad and turned around to see the Sea Horror staring at me. He laughed and poked me again:

Me: Keep doing that and I'll call a GM
Sea Horror: L0lorz!@!!!11!! Dum Kat ladiy, j00 cn't stpo mie! Meh 1337 2ki1llzz r teh h4xz0rz!!2!!!!1
Me: ... Seriously?
Sea Horror: Ie leek ****** Cn ie tuch jur ************

All of his poking got me up to 100~ TP so I smacked him down with my Pimp Hand WS for OMFG points of damage. Didn't know what hit him.

True story.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who was rather lost during that all? O.oo.OO.oo.OO.oo.O

That and I always thought the sea horror was some kinda sea dwelling creature that wouldn't be into Mithra... But hey, I never stood around and talked with him on the subject...

Carby is a brave but stupid lil blue squirrel. Last time I was on the ferry fishing, I had carby out like normal and the thing spawned right on top of me. Carby being a loyal little thing immediately attacked it on his own. He didn't last and I didn't have time to get distance.

The time before that he killed me it was me being stupid. Me and a whm friend were escorting a friend to Selbina and hoping for pirates. The whm was teasing with someone on the boat and was like look out the Sea Horror is behind you. Well shortly after he said that, it spawned on top of him. He got aggrod, I sent Ramuh in to get it off of him figuring I could call for help since some 75's were on the boat. Elvira in drag went down in 2 hits and I soon followed, then the whm who was originally aggrod. I did learn my lesson. Last week we were fishing in Bibiki Bay and on his first cast he caught the nm. I left him standing there and ran to the other side of the boat then asked for help. And that time, we both survived.

Sea horror is not that hard to solo rdm 68+ can solo it i've seen it before. As for his 2hr hundred fist thats so easy to avoid its not even funny. I killed it while on the boat with a 75sam simply use gravity and bind it if your rdm or have rdm sub. Around 5 ws killed it plus some hits and thunder II. I once saw a 75 ninja kill it with blade:ku. He is scary though he still hits me for 100 something with stoneskin off and phalanx on lol.
