That reminds me of a story I once read.

Yeah, I did put it in a rather silly way. I did take Japanese lessons a couple of years ago, which cured me of the notion of trying to learn another language, no matter which one. It only served to remind me that I absolutely hate classes, doesn't matter why I'm there.

Bleach: So Aizen is basically responsible for Ichigo being the way he is? That makes it all even worse than I thought it was. Next thing Kubo will do, is have a flashback about how Aizen created the universe. Ofcourse, only after Urahara made it possible.

Didn't Aizen already said that he watched Ichigo from before he was even born during the "final" arc of the original storyline?

He said something along the lines of he was responsible for everything and that he made Ichigo the way he is, powers and all, for the sole purpose of furthering his agenda to become God (or was it kill God?). This chapter makes it look more like an accident he's taking credit for.

It can still happen though, although I'm not sure how he'ld involve himself in it any further.

Aizen makes an Isshin shaped Gigai complete with matching spiritual pressure, gets Masaki drunk/drugged and bangs her, making him the biological father?

Fairy Tail: Saw the Future Rogue heel turn coming a mile away, but I figured Natsu would show up and stop "Atlas Flame's" attack.

I'm enjoying some of the dragon designs, especially Atlas Flame. I was kind of expecting traditional flying lizards, so this is nice. Also, apparently there's going to be/is a Fairy Tail / Groove Adventure Rave crossover episode. There certainly has been a bit of that recently. Two separate One Piece / Toriko minis, and a One Piece / Toriko / Dragonball Z. I get that they're a means to hype of movies and new shows and such. Just noting. The worst thing about the last one is that they only hinted at a Zoro Vegeta Zebra fight but didn't really follow through with it. That was a bit disappointing.

Not surprising since they already had it in the manga, I wonder if it's going to be the same story.

One Piece: More padding until the actual events. Funny as hell how the old guy I.D. Luffy right away and then Luffy gave himself away.

Bleach: The plot is starting to sound familiar. Also "Red Reishi String of Fate"

This week's highlight. (pre-empting lolgaxe here)

One Piece: Funny races! Funny races as far as the eye can see! The new addition being "The Long Leg Tribe."

Naruto: We're finally back to Story A, and Naruto and Obito (which reminded me that I'm still peeved over that reveal) have been shunted off to fight one on one, which roughly translates to Naruto convincing Obito about the magic of friendship.

Bleach: Masaki develops a coke problem. Bodyguard. Whitney Houston. I guess we're to be shown where Ichigo gets his personality from. This whole flashback is trying to tie up loose ends. So I guess I should be appreciative of that, but it just feels messily tacked on.

I hate to say it, but Kubo really is doing a good job of tying things back together. Ichigo isn't just a human/hollow/shinigami/quincy for no real reason; he actually has to be, according to Kisuke's balancing explanation. And of course while Isshin's limitations being human shell were clearly contrived for the sake of explaining plot holes in the earlier parts of bleach, it still works.

I'm not sure if I can make fun of Bleach anymore. This must be what losing faith in god feels like.

I don't like flashbacks. Everything that's being revealed in this particular flashback, while certainly appreciated considering how *********** everything has been up to it, really should have been revealed during the main story as things were progressing. Sure, the explanations make sense, I'm just not a fan of the way it is being presented.

It kind of was revealed, but at the time the revelations didn't make any sense.

I mean, we knew from chapter one that Ichigo was a freak of nature, and it only got more absurd, but now we're getting everything about that absurdity explained. The last few chapters for me have been, "Oh. Now I get it."

Fairy Tail: The Thunder Legion's expression when Laxus got a haircut on the title page was hilarious.Makarov punching a dragon in the face is kind of epic, and we've learned that the timeline has been altered already. Acnologia ambushed all the major guilds at the end of the tournament and wiped them out, if Future Lucy hadn't had shut the door it would have been a three way fight between Acnologia, the dragons that came through, and the guilds.

Honestly I had completed forgotten about the Poison Dragon Slayer. Also I like the translated error on this page, the fact that Acnologia Nom-inates the world is pretty funny.

I thought it'd be on hiatus considering it's Golden Week. Even after the Cobra reveal, it's still taken me a good five minutes to remember who the seven were. It was Wendy, and I just can't really see her fighting a dragon. Amusingly enough, the Sting and Rogue reveal was pretty amusing fun too. Makarov punching a dragon in the face was amusing awesome. I'll probably crop it and use it as a STFU image or something.

Edit: I overused the hell out of that word, damn it.

Wendy will probably have the Wind God Slayer chick as backup. Also I just realized why Igneel and the others went into hiding, Aconolgia locks onto dragon's magic like a heat seeking missile. With the seven appearing and going berserk he'll be in full hunt mode for awhile, so they're laying low until he's defeated or calmed down.

******* called it:

Rogue and Sting were asked by their "parents" for assisted suicide. More or less.

Want to bet that Future Rogue inheriting Sting's powers was also a Kevorkian twist as well? ;)
