D-Ingot StolenFollow

#1 Oct 09 2005 at 2:10 PM Rating: Decent
Today my Brothers D-Ingot was taken by someone claiming to be able to craft a Haubergeon. When it came time to make it the person all of the sudden D/C. Taking my brother's D-Ingot along with him. GM says that there is nothing they can do about it so now he's out 5mil+ and is going to quit the game. If anyone can help me get him another D-Ingot I would be ever in debt to you for the help. Would buy another but all my fund's and his went to buy this D-Ingot that got taken by some P.O.S named Mattacus.
Also the person who took it has another Char. named Joyuse so please watch out for him. If you can help just send me a tell to my main. (Calout)

Thank You

That was pretty stupid on your part, trusting a "high" level crafter? Did he at least have like, high lvl items w/ his name on them? Prolly not eh, dumbasses.

While it does suck that it happend, it's no ones fault but his own. Thats like giving some random person on a street corner a winning lottery ticket in real life and trusting them to cash it and bring it back to you.

Good luck finding people in this game to willingly let him get another ingot free of charge.

Nothing you can do. A person in linkshell of mine had 2 divine logs stolen from him. That is a nice 12 million stolen. Person claimed to be Jangula's mule. I don't know why he trusted him, but he did. Sorry your brother got screwed. But, things like this happen. Nothing else to do but move on.

It's actually named Kamikaze, Jangula himself is 100 smithing, and Ozawa is his GS mule.

lol Joyuse?

i've seen this *** around lower many a time getting yelled at for spamming shouts for Kraken Club he was "supposedly" trying to sell for 99mil
not sure he even had one but that's neither here nor there

:( i'm sorry for your loss (or you bro's)

never ever give an expensive item to a stranger. just the way it is. why did you not just buy the Hauby? and not the ingot. might have been a little more gil but what if the crafter had been honest and then popped the synth? you woulda been in the same boat. i hate to say "live and learn" :(
****** situation

Only trust people you know... Simple as that.

There are only a few people I will trust doing crafts... those people are Jangula, Yoda, an a few people in my Linkshells... Other then that... I don't give anything to anyone without some sort of collateral or other guarantees.

I feel for you. I tend to be a trusting person myself, and it is disappointing to be reminded that not everyone can be.

Very, very sad.

100+6 failed twice... that sucks ; ; -- I'm so lucky I'm lazy and just buy my gear with gil rather than doing the cheaper alternative of getting the items and getting a synther to synth it.

Though I will cry with you if it helps... CRY!!!!! ; ;

Wow, I asked that exact guy to craft some things for me yesterday. He was shouting all over Jeuno if anyone needed anything crafted, he had mules with 100 Alchemy, Goldsmithing, Smithing and Bonecraft.

When I told him that the items I wanted crafted werent of too much value, he seemed to completely loose intrest and started ignoring me, even though I offered him money to craft them.

I only wanted 2 items crafted for my relic horn form 1, both of which I had obtained in Dynamis. I pushed him to do it because I wanted to start work on my horn and he just said he would send me a tell when he logged to his bonecraft mule.

I never heard from him again.

I am truely sorry of what happened to you and I'm amazed the GMs didnt do anything, since stealing is against the TOS. I cannot offer any financial support to replace the ingot as my funds are currently low so all I can do is thank you for bringing him to our attention and believe me, as soon as he logs on hes gonna get an ear full from me and hopefully my LS members will join in too.

They were both drops from Kirin so I bought them from my former LS at SIGNIFIGANT discount. In THEORY I should have gotten the item at about half cost (or an HQ for 1/4) buuuuuuut It ended up me paying full price for nothing.

Oh well, Im 1/1 on Genie Weskit synths so my Luck aint that bad 8-P
