Hello Lakshmi, I am in the desert. I just wanted to let everyone know all is well, and I am actually counting down the days .... 362 to go. The plane ride went smoothly. It is hot as hell here though and I can not seem to keep my water intake up. I do not know how many times I will be able to post messages on here, but I will post one every chance I get to let all my friends and aquantences know I am still alive. Well I better be going, I will definately need a DYNAMIS LS when I return in from my deployment. I have 1, but they are 6 hours behind my current time zone. Well see you soon. Sgtkae

Hello, it is day 5 .... Damn it is hot, I can just imagine how the anticans feel in Alteppa dessert! It is going pretty fast. It has already been 4 or 5 days ... Damn I forget. Well good luck to you all and I will be back before we all know it! God Bless and take care. Sgtkae

I just have to know, when you're out there in the desert, do you turn to one of your mates and say "I sure hope we don't get aggro."?

Woot! Day 5!! Alright!! Stay safe, don't burn, stay away from Goblins....er insurgents, and avoid aggro at all costs. Seriously Thank you for being there and defending freedom across the globe. Stay safe and hydrated, drink until you start floating down the dunes.
Wow, It is day 7 I think. We had to wear our body armor and stuff for the 1st time yesterday. It was not as hot but it was still heavy after 6 or so hours trying to get climatized. I have not seen any dhamels yet, I have seen a few ants, and ofcourse I stomped them. I did not recieve any good drops, just some gunk on the bottom of my boot. I saw a scorpian also, I left him alone for the most part. I do not know if thier venom in thier stinger is deadly or not..... LMAO. It has been going by fast, the days seem long, but it is really hard to believe it has been a week already. Today is my birthday and I am not with friends or family so it has to be my worse yet, but then I am 33 so I am sure they do nt really get better, until the kids start getting me birthday gifts.... Wonderful Kids I have!!! Well I am off to get some lunch and try to catch my wife close to her cell phone. I will try to post on here as much as I can. THanks for your support..... SGTKAE

Only the black "Desert Scorpions" have poisonous tails, though red ones if they are in the area should be considered as "Notorious Monsters". Good job squashing the Antica for us though and sorry to here the drops have been bad..... See if they will let you sub Thief for Treasure Hunter and it may get better. Stay safe! ^^
LMAO ..... I am not dehydrated, but right now we are just training up, I do not have a job here because I am a cook and they have conctracted cooks (This sucks) this means I do nothing everyday except go in and out of an air conditioned tent to smoke, eat, restroom, shower or go to the PX or something. My days are long (Time does not fly by) I miss playing FFXI Online. It will be better when we get to our final destination where they can find a job for me to do. I would love for the days to be consumed a little faster where I can get back home and try out my thief knife....... Sleek ask Concreteman how is my knife working, please. He does not have email so I really can not talk to him I am asleep when he gets off work and stuff.
Today is officially a week in country, that means I have 51 more weeks to go. I will be so glad to get back home and play this wonderful game with all of you! Thanks for the positive threads it makes me feel somewhat happy. Thanks again Kae
