Nerds unite! I provide a personal critique of this forum and I get a Freudian description of my attitude? Well, s'hit. I didn't know I was that much of an enigma to some people here. *Wink*Joph*Wink*

Let me make it much easier for you guys: drop all the assumptions of acceptance, trollism, and whatever half-assed conclusions you dignify yourself with. They really hold no relevance whatsoever.

If I really wanted "acceptance," don't you really think I would have completely put up a witty, yet mysterious persona while bringing interesting ideas on the discussion table; the latter which would be intricate enough to open up either a one-on-one discussion with someone else in the thread - the forming of most e-friendships, or would have enabled to hang around here long enough until I become recognized?

That's the funniest part about the Asylum too. Anyone with a half-decent and unique literary style can become quickly accepted. Yet all you weirdoes think of yourselves as so great, so witty and complex, you dare not even think for two minutes that this board is an actually important part of your life - even major for some people - yet it is dignified as something to do for fun. Okay, sure. And wait, I'm the one being accused of becoming a potential suicide bomber/sniper? What the f'uck?

My attitude is pretty self-explanatory. Call me the hated minority, the self-gratifying troll, the guy about to go sub-default, or the guy longing for acceptance even though he denies it, but I have yet to do anything to become accepted in your little clique and will probably never attempt anything at it. I'm here to provide my superior and distinguished opinions, not to recite songs no one has ever heard of or to partake in the enticed bullshi't of inside jokes. But keep thinking I'm longing for acceptance, because deep down in my heart, I know I am. I also cry myself to sleep everynight because of the fact I don't have access to the secret board of the Asylum.

Don't think of forum=4 as the epitome of greatness on the internet. You guys are an insignifcant pimple on the *** of the World Wide Web and you can be damn sure outsiders/wannabes/newbies like myself see nothing more beyond this accurate description of the Asylum.

Of course it's important to some of us, but not for the reason you are trying to imply. This is a place that allows us who have free time to chat with likeminded people who have a sense of humor and dont get bent out of shape like the loserrs who run out of here crying, or who try and act superior pointing out imagined flaws from their own pathetic mind(cough)

And yet you continue to come here time and time again and post. And again and again... waste of time if you ask me, unless you have an underlying unconcious agenda, which I think is what many here are pointing out to you, whether youre concious of it or not..

and yet you feel the need to point it out time and again. And each time we smile, nod, forget about you immediatly and continue on our merry way. Show me who cares what *you* actually think about us.

Ah, the beautiful shelter of the "We don't care what you think yet you're still around here" answer.

Absolute magnificient.

Quite a mediocre answer, just like your avatar I may add. Didn't even make me chuckle.

I doubt you're capable, really.

It's ironic that you try to give everyone a label and yet I can't think of a single thing that that makes you different than Spinshark, Mikkle, Proroc et al. If you all shuffled accounts tomorrw, no one would have a clue.

quite the average retort for someone who doesnt *care* but just had to post their thoughts. Nothing whatsoever makes it stand out from any other.

And yes, I fully used my avatar with the underscored thought of amusing you or anyone else. Smiley: rolleyes As you have already stated, We dont care what you think so why would that even be a comeback worthy enough to even bother with?

Oh, I get it, Meeko isn't just another racist homophobe lacking the mental capacity to accomplish anything but martyrdom as he expresses his superior distinguished opinions; he's unique. He's a fu[red][/red]cking snowflake, and he's just here to let us bathe in his wisdom. I tell you what, Joph is right, you are no different than those he mentioned, and a plethura of others all over the place who would claim to be so fortified in their hate and judgement.

You're not an enigma, you're predictable, and your self-espoused motivations don't matter to anyone but you. Everyone can tell how insignificant you feel. It's okay, you really are.

Pull the trigger, there is no time like the present. Maybe set up a canvas behind yourself at the proper brain catching trajectory and you can contribute at least a work of abstract art. I'd buy that for a dollar.

Right. I mean, the brilliant personalities that populate this forum fascinate me everytime I read their posts. Can't deny that!

Get off your f'ucking pedestal and understand that most of you guys here fall in an undescribable category which could be hardly classified as original or unique. Most of you have clichéd and hackeneyed internet personas.

Because I have yet to present anything that could hold your interest? You read all my posts with scorn and with the assumption that I'm desperately longing for the Asylum's acceptance. Biased reading ftw?

And there's really not much to discuss in other threads anyways. Looking at the front page, you have some guy implying how hard it is to have a newborn, another one trying to make people guess if he was fired/promoted and other random topic names that cannot hold my attention for more than fifteen seconds.

What the f'uck do you expect me to write about? Give me something relevant then maybe I'll have some substance in my posts. But before that, you'll just have to keep ignoring my mundane posts. I suggest you start doing it now, because I have really nothing to discuss/argue with you anymore and you should really get back to work. Getting that coffee and making those photocopies aren't taks that are going to get done by themselves.

and yet you yourself continue to come back here after bit[Aqua][/Aqua]ching about lack of entertainment. Whining about nothing good here is weaksauce. If you find it so boring you have 2 options: use your free time to find something that isnt boring for your standards, or post something you think is worth for a discussion. You could have chosen option 2 a long time ago and have maybe enjoyed some real responses. But unfortunately you've donned the persona no one here can bother working themselves up to banter with in ernest, so really I would suggest option 1. Have fun

I don't get it. Why do you have a badly drawn bunny with its hands up and a caption that really does not pertain to the picture itself? Obviously, you have a trashy sense of humor which is only reflected by your poor sentence structure and "underscored thoughts."

Just so we're straight: you could "gain acceptance" at any time by adopting a witty and/or mysterious persona but you need me to hold your hand and give you something mysterious and/or witty to say?

Well, it's obvious now why you've "picked" the posting style you've chosen. Smiley: laugh

Way to put words into my mouth? I don't need your half-assed help and liberal opinions to write anything of relevance. I just need a topic which could intellectually challenge me and hold my attention for more than fifteen seconds before it turns to the constant CJing you blatantly see everywhere in this board.

So go for it. C'mon.. wow me.

Actual witty and mysterious people don't use "You guys aren't enough to inspire me" as an excuse for their mundane prattle.

I've got a little under two hours. Do you have it in you? I'm guessing "no" and you take the "I don't have to prove anything" door on your way out.

Look, no one's suggesting that you *have* to fit in, or impress us, or do anything at all. Speaking for myself, I just don't care all that much.

This is a message board on a game site. It's just a place for some of us who originally had one or more games in common to come and talk about off-topic stuff that doesn't necessarily revolve around "What's your favorite My Little Pony?" Like... news. And jobs. And babies. And moving.

You know, life.

If we seem cliquish, it's probably because we are. Many of us have been posting here for a long time; we've hooked up through here to play various games together; we know each others' personas and have fun talking and joking around, and what not.

But it's not a closed system, as you seem to be determined to prove that it is. Newcomers can gain acceptance, and do. All they have to do is post with a minimum of idiocy and a fair amount of humor, and it helps to have a thick skin in the early days.

Whether that acceptance is meaningful to the newcomer in question or not is really not the question. If they're entertained, and we're entertained, then there *is* no question, really.

I suppose what I'm saying is, I don't understand why you have a problem with the way things work here. It's not that different from any other internet community that's been around for a while. You said as much yourself. /shrug

Do I have a problem with this clique? Absolutely not. You guys are entitled to your own nerdiness and I'll leave it at that.

I just thought it'd be hilarious to analyze it in a way that would draw other idiots to actually respond to a description of the Asylum they've seen plenty of times.

I guess mission accomplished.
