After reading through the different posts and replies here, I came to the conclusion that most the of the people here were made fun of in high school. I realized this as I was reading posts and replies, and lo and behold there are about two halfway decent replies and then a bunch of ignorant comments, and they are just some poor worn out excuse to feel good about ones self.
Why is it that the people that have to most replies/posts are also the people that really have nothing intelligent to say, hmm could it that degrading the thoughts (yes some of them are stupid) of others is the only way these people can feel good about themselves. I really do feel bad for these users and would aslo like to see and read the genius excuses they come up with. So lay it on me I can take it.

I really think you're over analysing things. People come here to amuse themselves or just to talk to friends. They come particularly to the Asylum because it ia no holds barred. They're allowed to be rude, annoying, loud, whatever. and some obviously will. People pharm posts because its something to do, or some just have opinions on everything and like to share ^^. Having a high post count and / or being a tool doesn't make them stupid or mean they were bullied.
As for making themselves feel better? Some, maybe, but I bet a hell of a lot more are just trying to make others feel worse. Vindictiveness ftw.

Hmm...have to disagree with the OP. I use to troll the EQ server boards on Eq Vault, and it was a great place to talk trash, make fun of others, and just really get one's aggressions out.
I came here to Ala's only to get more EQ info, as I had recently come back to the game, when I made thegreatest mistake of my life ( ok that is overly dramatic)...I clicked the Asylum Forum...
And now I am addicted. I come everyday to see what new whitty conversations evolve here. In truth, this group of "Asylumates" are the trashtalkinest, obnoxious, cruel, evil, and entertaining bunch I have read in a long time. And as much as it is awful to admit, there really are alot of intelligent people here. And just outright funny. Some of the things I have read here make me laugh out loud. Joph, DSD, Coddy,Nadenu,Samira, Deballic, Elderon, Moebius ( hate that self aggrandized,intelligent SOB ), and the Atomic flea etc... damn if the aren't flat out funny.
I guess that is a long way of saying that the OP couldn't be more off base...so here's to the Aylumates
