#1 Mar 17 2006 at 7:16 AM Rating: Good
Thats right its the time of year when everyone drops their nationality and proclaims themselves Irish!

Happy St Patrick's Day! Any big plans? Me, I am gonna going out for DInner and drinks with the Mrs. Then come home and cozy up along side my Guinness keg.

Happy birthday to your child Kalaria! I have not one spec of Irish in me. I think I'm the only native New Englander that is not Irish or Italian. However, I think Im going to go find some chocolater golden coins and hide them around the house or outside if its nice enough out, and send my son on a gold hunt.

Isn't that odd? I would expect you to be Celtic, looking like a pixie the way you do. My father's grandparents were full-blooded Irish on one side, and full-blooded Italian on the other. He and his parents were born and raised in Peru, but my father had red hair in his youth and is very pale. I guess my peruvian side will go have a margarita to celebrate today, then.

My Great Grandfather moved here from Ireland (Cork County) in 1903. That makes me a little Irish I think.

I figure I'll drive the snakes out of my yard and fight my son with a shillelagh or something. Maybe set a bomb off outside some local Protestant's house.

Why should they get St. Pat's off? It's the celebration of some drunken jerk off knocking a leprechaun off with a knotty stick and stealing a pot of gold. The celebration is much drinking and boiled f'ucking beef.

Columbus Day, on the other hand, celebrated the half millenia of cultural rape and the subjegation of indiginous peoples in an entire hemisphere.
