As you may or may not know the WoW forum is in the process of creating a lvl 29 BG alt guild. Based on our poll results it seems we have decided on going horde (though this is not set in stone). We are still however deciding on a server to roll on. Shadow Council seems like it would be a good candidate (it has an ideal population ratio of 1.6:1 for us and is a medium population pve server).

I was hoping though that some of you might be able to provide us with some more information such as the approximate age of the server (new, middle, old), the frequency of battlegrounds games especially for the 20-29 bracket, and if it being an RP server helps or hidners the BG in anyway.

Thank you for your time.

As far as I know, it's a medium age server with higher alliance population (as are most RP servers). the 20-29 BGs are pretty frequent, and during peak hours, there are usually 2-3 WSG running.

If you're going horde, make sure to look for members of We on Thursday nights. That's when most Lunatics will be on our horde toons.

We are all playing alliance, correct. We do have a Horde guild as well, just for alt night. Which we pretty much only play them on Thursdays.

Shadow Council is a nice little place to play. Queues aren't too bad, AH prices could be a lot worse, and in general the pricks are few and far between.

Lunatics is the second generation WoW Alliance guild for regular posters on the Asylum message board at Allakhazam's Magic Realm. Lunatics is a loose collection of people who have interacted with each other on a regular basis for, in some cases, years. Lunatics' incarnation on Shadow Council is a direct result of our desire to play together, enjoy baudy guild chat and have a good time with people we have grown to consider friends.

Lunatics admits regular posters to the Asylum, their friends and family and anyone who can gain sponsorship from We.

Lunatics' sister guild on Shadow Council, Horde side, is We.

We is the WoW Horde guild for regular posters on the Asylum message board at Allakhazam's Magic Realm. We is a loose collection of people who have interacted with each other on a regular basis for, in some cases, years. We's incarnation on Shadow Council is a direct result of our desire to play together, enjoy baudy guild chat and have a good time with people we have grown to consider friends on our Horde side characters. We is largely an alt guild, most active on Horde Night, which is Thursday.

We admits regular posters to the Asylum, their friends and family and anyone who can gain sponsorship from We.

We's sister guild on Shadow Council, Alliance side, is Lunatics.

Currently in a draft state, the code of conduct and discipline proposals for Lunatics are as follows:

1) Don't be An Cnut*.

2) See rule 1.

Discipline:
All disputes will be settle in the time honored tradition of the Asylum. We** is the sole arbiter of justice and We's decision is final. We will banter back and forth amongst itself to allow for the required discourse and then We will create a poll in which We will be expected to vote on a single option picked from one concensus driven choice and several rhetorical non-answers. We will then decide to either act on that vote or ignore it entirely to impose it's will on the offending party.

*An Cnut is defined as anyone who ninja loots, griefs, brings shame on the guild name, causes unnecessary and insipid drama within the confines of the guild or any other action determined by We to be outside the scope of expected coduct.

** We needs not be defined as you are either We or you are not. Any question as to whether or not you are We will be settled the moment you assert an opinion.

All of that being said, I am sure we could scrounge up a few willing souls to kick your asses on a regular basis.

I'm downloading the rest of the patches right now. I hope to pick up a gamecard today, so I might be in for a while tonight.

Is the game currently at version 1.9.2?

I'm morbidly curious, but wouldn't even think of it until next month when the agony of packing is over. Is there a place I can sit and bake? Maybe shoot bunnies and make pies out of them? If not, I'd like to knit and engage in occasional slapfights.

you can bake and cook and sew, etc. The only thing is you do have to level just a bit in order to get to the highest skill. But we could help you with that when you get to the point that you want to make the higher level stuff. In the beginning though, you can be as domestic as you please Smiley: grin

um guys I'd reallllly suggest going on a higher ratio than 1.6:1 server that's alliance to horde....cuz well if there are 3 x as many horde as allies you get to run way more BG's....that's how it is on shadowsong...we have a premade 20-29 twink group and we can go for about 4 hours of Bg's until all the allies go crying to their moms :) it's really awesome when we have 3 hunters with over 450 ranged AP and some rogues and wars with crusader going on :D and 2 priests with 1500 hp and 3k mana pools :P both of which have 30 spellpower on their Zealot blade+ witches finger combo and wear spellpower goggles extreme, or the warrior who always runs in first that has 2200 hp unbuffed (I always give him buff pots since he never dies...like ever, we went thru 4 BG's wihtout him dieing one day :D :P) or the 4 of use who are engineers who carry around a bag worth of The Big One and we can clear an entire room with just that ( 1600 dmg or so in a 10 yard radius, + 2 of us are hunters with steelarrow xbows, so we hit with multi shot for 200 on non crits :D

I changed what people can and cannot do mainly because I could. If you choose to question that decision I suggest you ask Aegis what the results of giving me guff might be.
