Oh, step off your tall pony ffs. No one's saying she has no right to sue. I'm saying it's a matter of chance as to whether she's awarded anything or not.

I'm quite sure the company has put an avalanche of policies in place already to make sure this doesn't happen again; but I submit that even if she knew that, she'd still sue to see what she can get out of it.

Back atcha. That comment was in response to this:

I'm sure the lawsuit is mostly to make sure this never happens again.

...but really, no need to follow the conversation. Just jump in with random **** any time.

Reading comprehension is your friend. Seriously, do you even bother to think before you respond? Or does having a hole in your crotch prevent you from that?

That was a rhetorical question, stfu.

Wow, you responded to a one liner.

Molish, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. You suck at trolling. And you pick fights with the wrong people. Samira is smarter than you, she's wittier than you, and the only intrest you provide to the topic will be watching her pick you apart piece by piece.

No offense to the neurotic host of numerous guild forums and what not, but toughen up a little. This loon sent her friend to get her pills. If she had been concerned with her privacy she would have gone and gotten the damn things herself. Sending her friend to get them sort of waived any privacy claims she had. As to her being offended by the comments, f'uck off, lady. Whether she wins her "case" or not, we need to stop being so worried about offending people. When did it become ok for people to walk around thinking they have the right not to be offended or feel emotional pain? ITS A F'UCKING PART OF LIFE! Deal with it. The normal people do.

I dunno.. he came up with that snappy "get in the kitchen" line. That was pretty sharp and innovative.

OOOOO! Allenjj, the voice of "WE" I see. Sorry guy, but I think she’s' married or sumthing. Though I don't believe her to be above adultery, you probably haven't been able to get it hard for anything without paws for some time now.

Awe, you forgot to suck her mighty e-peen even more by saying "and she’s better then you, and prettier, and I cream my pants every time I read what she writes, and.......oh shiny..."

Good game, fuckslap. The salient point here is that neither one was a one liner, which supports my comment that context is kinda the point in an actual conversation.

And green galoshes of doooooooooooooom!

Anyway - back on topic, to some extent: I also have to wonder whether it's in her best interest as a patient to pursue a lawsuit. If the event in question were so painful for her, then surely the constant reminders of it as she goes through depositions and possibly trial can't be very helpful to her.

Sometimes letting an insult go by is the best thing you can do for yourself, never mind the other side.

Her willingness to jump into the spotlight makes it an obvious money-grab. Smart move on her part, make the system work for you and get a few bucks out of the deal.

Ya gotta excel at something Allen. One day I hope to achieve the level of greatness in that category you have set for all of us so inspired.

And Sammy, I will not have sex with you. Please stop with all hot, hot PMs'

EDIT: Please continue with the original discussion. I'm just here for bad comic relief.

You've apparently never been in a persistant state of on the edge, where someone's words wound you deeper than anything else.

I can cause a good deal of damage to myself purposefully, and feel it less than humiliation. Humilation flashes me back to times in my life I'd rather not think about. Such that I would probably rather be sent on a long walk off a short pier than have to RELIVE THEM ALL OVER AGAIN. No, I can't just think about them for more than a blink of an eye, I flash back to them and am forced to feel it all over again.

You're a doodoohead and you smell like poopy. And I bet you're all runkly too.

/nod

If she can take being drilled by lawyers about her psychoses, then surely she can take this. If not, she's going to come out of this a lot more screwed up then upon going into it.

I'm quite sure that avalanche of policies wouldn't have come to pass unless there was a legal strong arm. A complaint from a single customer may have gotten her an apology and a free refill, but maybe she wanted the self-assurance that corporate would be on top of it.

I'm not saying the case is one I would file, but I do give it more merit than something like suing over hot coffee.

In all honesty, a suit against a company that served coffee at 190 degrees Farenheit resulting in second and third degree burns looks like a better case than hurt feelings inflicted by accident.
