My Prediction Concerning Hurricane KatrinaFollow

As soon as it is meteorlogically feasible, every last criminal and ne'r-do-well-- which pretty much describes everyone within the geographical city limits --will crawl out from under the (flooded) holes they've been hunkered down in and begin looting and pillaging. It will make the Rodney King and LA Laker championship riots/mob scenes look like amateur's work, which, in fact, it is. After all, no one can rip off other people like a well trained Looosianna Cajun, ya know, Robicheaux? A long tradition of con artists and thieves from Huey P. Long to the people who convinced the state's citizenry that the Lottery proceeds would actually go into the school's coffers has paved the way for a well established precedent to take place as soon as the weather clears.

Mark it down!

Yeah but how.....It's "Supposedly" going to be underwater for quite awhile. So is the first place they go to gonna be a scuba shop or something?

If the town is flooded will there be anything to pillage? Water logged TV's don't sound very appealing.

Hard to loot with giardia, unless you're looting a toilet bowl.

You mean that, in the chaotic period following a major distaster, you predict that people will act unlawfully?

Holy shit, Kreskin! What lottery numbers should I play?

Here is to hoping that all of the looters die from looting during a major huricane.

If they live to spawn another generation I'm not sure what Darwin advocates will be able to say.

And apparently two men were found this morning by salvage crews working to clear a Lowes store. The men had drowned to death inside the Lowes store. The bodies were found near the Bait and Tackle isle with a john boat lodged in hardware that clearly did not belong in the store. The john boat's name was Goat. Now to Trina with some huge melons and the weather.

Okay, that sucked, but it gives you an idea.

Redneck caught stealing lawn srpinklers!

A local man of New Orleans was caught today, with a wagon full of stolen lawn sprinklers and a bottle of Ky jelly.

When we asked the man why he would steal lawn sprinklers after a hurricane here was his response: "well dem der watta peoples shut off my waters last month. My lawns is all dried and grass is dying, so i's was gunna use tese to water my lawns.

We arrested the main standing in front of his house knee deep in water. We then asked him why he was going to water his lawn when it was already 3 feet underwater. There was no response as the man was to pre-occupied trying to pick his nose with handcuffs on.

We refrained from asking him what the Ky jelly was for...

Which is pretty much everyone bunkered down in the Superdome.

Well, Jophiel, I am glad to see you recognise my precogniscent abilities. Your numbers are as follows: 9, 23, 27, 40, 46, and 58.

However, I do detect a certain, shall we say, scoffing tone in your post. In such a law abiding city as Chicago, I'm sure that mere acts of nonviolent civil disobedience pass for the very fabric of civilization tearing apart, but in Nawlines a day without homocide or assault with intent to cause great bodily injury is like a day without sunshine-- which is precisely what has been building up for the past several days.

You haven't lived until you have experienced a coconut being thrown MLB style at your head during one of the tamer Mardi Gras celebrations. And this is what constitutes a gentle and kid friendly parade.

So, really, what is the difference between those cooped up inside the Supewrdome and those penned inside Angola State Prison? It's simple, really. My black and repressed brothers and sisters out on the green green astroturf of the Saints will be released in approximately twelve hours.

Chicago ain't got nuthin' on Nawlines, white bread.

What, and have my people move off the plantation, proof? That'd just mean The Man has beaten us psychologically as well as physically. The entire city of Nawlines is one big plantation breeding shack, brothah. You oughta know better.

After today, it's going to be one big mosquito breeding pond instead.

Hmmm, what will mosquitos be like after breeding in sewage mixed with chemical plant spill-off?

So you're saying that the hoodlums and n'er-do-wells of New Orleans are a less law-abiding breed than those of the Windy City?

Well, that only makes your prediction of criminal disobedience following the disaster even more amazing.

Apache gunships, I'd imagine.
