I just deactivated Amanada. I thought I can end the game with a high note in Divine Might, it did not work out because of certain issues (no drama here).

Elathia Congrads in getting your WHM AF Body... Please check your Allakhazam PM as I wish to stay in touch with me.

Take care and I hope I may see you again :-)

*ties Ama to a pole*

Did you think I was going to forget about doing that.

And no you cannot deactivate Amanada. Oh no you cannot quit.

That is not only MEAN, but not fair. >_>

Never met you in-game, but take care and good luck. FFXI is a habit you can kick, but it's hard. The people you've met you will miss and that actually is the hardest part, but you can do it.

Take care. You will be back (probably) but you won't have the same addiction...

Take care!!

A few words for the generally more junior player in Alla from a person that had played too much:

1) Expect less from others, but play the game for fun and respect, and treat other players as equal. Sometimes, it is hard to control what others do, but do what you believe that makes yourself help to the society and not harming the fun value of others (this will include not gimping yourself, not begging, research your game role).

2) Eltism, in the end, is not wise. A lot of people like to show off, sometimes I do too (Haha I onced borrowed a Kirin Osode just to wear it for fun), but there is no reason to put down another person when he/she is doing what he/she can, and are willing to listen to inputs from others.

3) Pay attention when doing game events... I am shocked that how much people do not pay attention in the game even in end game. Not paying attention is the same as not treating others as equal. Because if one do not try to pay attention as much as you can, it can lead increase of risk that is not needed, failures that can be avoided. This is true as in real life. So do not think this is a game, and not pay attention.

4) Play nice, simply. Sometimes a lot of fights and conflicts in the game can be avoided if people treat each other fairly and nicely. Sometimes a drama joke is fun, but do not take it too personally nor go over board. If everyone are willing to put aside their difference for the fun of the game.... the game will be 10X more fun.

5) Do not let this game to be a drug... I am trying to correct this. I admit this game is too overly addicting. Go out more, and see the sunshine more outside :)

Recently, someone attacked me in the game as like to lecture others. I will say, if everyone treat other with respect and willing to share advice to each other then there will be no need to lecture.

I am not sure where Cerberus stands in terms of game dramas and player relationships. I certain feel something more can be done. I am a person that believes that there is a brighter tomorrow.

For #5..although I had good reason to quit my RL job 3 months ago...this game played a huge role in the decrease of my job performance because I lost a lot of sleep. I urge everyone...SLEEP > This game. Please take that very seriously.

It happened to me a few times that the lack of sleep (may or may not related to FFXI) took a big toll to me.

I can come to work very woozy when do not get enough sleep ><

Therefore there is a need of a new rule

General Rule of Thumb of Life
1) Sleep > Everything

I miss several hours of sleep frequently because of this game <_< I won't stay up late exping/farming/crafting/whatevering, but if my LS is doing a CoP mission or something and I need to miss some sleep for it, it's worth it.

On that note, the night I did ZM6-12 I was up until 5:30 and had to wake up at 6:30. >_> Oh well, one day of missed school isn't that bad ;D

gratz to elathia for AF. ^^

sorry i haven't been on game often enough to assist or talk. RL jobs do have more hold over me than ffxi. :p

amanada *grabs amanada by the collar*
you'd better shape up, curb addiction, and get right back in game.

till then, have fun in RL. :)
