This may be a little shocking -- Sorry Windycheeks you just gave the pearl of your LS to me yesterday, and I have to come out say such things on the next day. This is a decision I made overnight thinking long time.
Brisk, I will have to apologize that I will not be present when we are planning to fight Omega and Ultima Weapon.
I have tried to quit before. It never worked out. A few recent personal events (not dramas, just personal interaction among friends) have convinced me it is of my best interest to leave game (or at least take a long break). In the next few days, I will talk to my friends in personal level to inform why I have come to such decision.
My departure will begin of the evening of this coming Sunday after a friend of mine is going to do a Black Mage Divine Might / Zilart Mission 14 run, which I will participate as Bard. In ancient Chinese astrology, whenever someone of some importance falls, a star will fall from the Sky. So let the end begin at Sky.
Plans for the future of my gear is already be decided. I will basically give it to people I trust who I will trust that it will be returned to me if I decide to return. It is bascially all mage/bard gear, so there are not a lot of choice what to do with it. I do not believe in selling everything and hand out free gil.
If I do return, it will be probaby be at least mid-September until I have convinced myself that I have straighten up the things I need to.

Take your break and clear your mind. I will probably be taking a hiatus of my own soon as the spark isn't there anymore, but I think some time off will fix that. Make sure that your gear is placed to where you can get it back.
Cerberus will be short a great player and person if you do opt to retire for good. Just please make sure you think it through thoroughly.

This game is just so darn addicting and fun.

Well we appreciate all the help that you and others have done to help us get to where we are now. We also appreciate acknowledgement from others as being a prominent LS, but we honestly don't think of it much. We just try to do what we do.
