Okay, while at school today, I was doing research on the library's internet connection. The guy at the computer next to me is muttering under his breath and I just happen to understand the words "Leaping Boots." Anyway, he gets up and leaves without shutting off his account with the school, presumably to get a drink or something. Being the curious type (okay, the blatantly nosey type, don't sit next to me in a library if you find this disturbing) I decide to look at his monitor screen and see what's going on. Smack dab on the screen I see this touching little sentiment.

Play Nice, Don't Monopolize!
Hundreds of thousands of people, like you, enjoy playing Final Fantasy XI. Everyone plays to have a good time. Friendliness, courtesy, and respect for others are as important in the online world as they are in real life. We encourage all players to be good citizens of the gaming community. Exploits, hacks, and monopolizing camp spots so other people can’t acquire good items are destructive to the whole game experience for everyone. Game economies are not helped by making it difficult for other players to play and enjoy the game. Any activity that makes playing the games less fun hurts us all. We encourage you to use common sense, common courtesy, and enjoy the marvelous adventures in the games. Help everyone have fun and all else follows.

It actually seems pretty nice and everything doesn't it, especially with all the complaints people shoot about this happening. There was just one thing that soured this little speech. Perhaps if I give you the Web Site Name it's on, you will understand.

IGE

Talk about being unclear on the concept...

I'm sorry, but this has been posted alot of times.
And IGE is kinda right in that statement.
They dont buy gil from the chinese gilsellers that does the griefing. They get it from people quitting the game, and people that just want to make a buck.

Or so they say themselfs...

Make most NM drops rare/ex.

That's how most gil sellers get their gil anyway.

Then everyone would move to Ordells since Archer's rings are a crafting item and we can watch the Gil Seller wars. They may ever drive prices down in competition.

I agree, most of this stuff these weak NMs drop is amazing for their level, Valkurm Emp, Lizzy, Argus, do I need to go on?

I still wonder if SE even sees a problem in this, these things really should be Rare/Ex for their level, or the NMs should be boosted in level, or even made into HNMs

Or at least make BCNMs to get these.
