We have started playing Vanguard and I cannot tell you how much I miss Allakhazam. I have used it through EQ, EQII and WoW. What qualifications does a game need before you consider it? I did not see another thread about this, sorry if it is a duplicate.
I think this has been up for discussion before. They had to pic between two MMOs and the other one won.

Okay, I don't play Vanguard, but I saw this thread after happening across the following while browsing GameStop's website (important part is bolded):
Isn't it a little ridiculous to encourage people to buy Vanguard and get free Alla access... when there's no Vanguard section on this site? That makes no sense to me (other than from the point of trying to suck money from people's pockets).

No Vanguard page is planned. They hosed the Alla crew, so they got hosed in response.
I believe that's actually Gamestop's fault. I think they're only supposed to put that onto games we cover.
It was VG or LOTRO and we chose LOTRO. The reasons were many. If you visit our LOTRO site you will see we made the better choice, as this game will be HUGE! We still have not nixed the VG site altogether, as soon as we decide, we will let you know!
As for Gamestop, this is correct. I will look into it. But IIRC, we will be making a VG site and harassing Gamestop in the interim would be worthless.

Go ahead and play etc. Let us know if you like it, what it's pro and cons are. Most times it is best to play a game yourself, opinions are varied.
