Oh, apperently tha page shows nuked posts in the total too.

Can I be admin of the OOT?

Usagi did, hands down. I don't think ANY one has as long a note history as he does.



Being the one who deals with problem customers, I notate a time or two, now and then, who is a real ***** and stuff.



What were they? I don't want to go look them up!

Yes it does. It shows 5 more posts than my post count for me. I have at least 200 posts in nuked threads, as well as probably a good 300-500 nuked posts as well. I'm 95% sure it's caused by posts in fake forums. 100% sure it has nothing to do with nuked posts/threads.

551 nuked posts in fact. Not including posts in nuked threads, but including posts i've nuked in my journal.

I dunno, they technically gave me volunteer minions, so maybe? You'd have to ask darqflame type people how that whole thing works. At the moment the volunteer peoples don't get any of the fun toys though.

But he takes pictures of airplanes so its ok. Drachensborn is "Dragon born" in german, and ties in with the avatar and the backstory. Which can be partially read in my journal for the curious.

Eh, I'm 100% sure it's got nothing to do with "fake" forums because the difference for me is 24, and I don't have 24 posts in "fake" forums. I did, however, have 24 posts that were rated Negative (due to being nuked) prior to the change to the forum system that made it so that nuked posts are somewhat more permanently gone than they used to be.

It's been requested. Chances are it will take a while. I'll let you know if they discard the ticket for it.

Your post count got reduced by 5 posts at one point. The number you see isn't necessarily your real post count. Usagi is a good example of this. With just 5 posts, it might be a server burp.

Honestly, that's probably it.
When you post, it increments your post count in your profile. If you managed to doublepost at some point, it might have incremented your postcount twice at once, so:
post 1: load post count = 1000
post 2: load post count = 1000
post 1: save incremented count = 1001
post 2: save incremented count = 1001

Additionally, this is why Karma slowly drifts too, although by the time I quit, the database servers were fast enough that it wasn't nearly as much of a problem as it used to be.
