Harp is your average Lager Beer. Good on you trying some new stuff!

Harp is a pretty straight forward Euro Pale Lager, Try to find a Sam Smith's Lager (think its called All Organic or something) comes in a 16oz single bottle. Also Brooklyn Lager is a nice US representation of the style. Not really sure what beers are sold out in Utah, but try other Lagers or Pilsners. Pale Ales have a more floral hop then European Beers like Lagers and Pilsners.

Try the Harp with a bit of Roses Lime Juice. It's all I order when I'm in my local English Pub.

Why?

Good beer never needs anything added to it. Ever.

Then again I wouldn't consider Harp that good so ehhh.

I'm guessing it's an English or Irish thing. It's not bad, really. Harp is relatively generic tasting, so it's just something a little different.

I'm going to have to agree with Both Lubie and Sora. Harp does taste good with lime juice (much like Corona), but as Sora said, a good beer doesn't need it and Harp (nor Corona) isn't exactly a stellar beer.

Also I haven't ever heard of anyone putting lime with lager..... it makes no sense.

This one. Same as your avatar.

Awesome smell, great taste. Got a little alcohol but it actually blended pretty nicely with the spices. Also, I found out its actually better to drink when slightly warm.

Good fucking man! This is one of my favorite Fall Releases. I am sure you drank it from a glass right? The alcohol has a nice warming effect and yes chilling this below 50 is a sin.

Damn, I need to find a place that sells that Weyerbacher Pumpkin Ale. My fiance and I love a good pumpkin beer; we've tried a few kinds and currently our favorite is Shipyard Pumpkinhead.

how good is that. i was looking at it tonight when i went to ABC to buy some bier.

i ended up buying St. Bernardus Abt 12. a d4mn fine bier. great smooth dark flavor at 10% ALC/VOL shame it is $14 for 4, bit pricey, but worth it now that i have had one. ill drink more tomorrow... yum yum.

might have to make a trip and pick up that shipyard.

Good to know that the beer IQ is going up. Unfortunately, my Bmore Ravens mug broke so I had to improvise and ended up drinking it out of a deer park bottle with the top cut off. Not exactly optimal :(
