Okay, cats and kittens, I think if I see one more ding thread premised on questioning whether or not it's a valid ding, I'm going to vomit. We need to clear things up.
The Official Rules as ding threads are concerned are as follows:
1) Dings threads are made at 1k, 4, 5k, and 10k.
2) No one cares about dings at >10k.
3) You may not call a poster in a ding thread "nub" (or any variation thereof) if they have a larger post count than you.
Some unofficial rules that appear to be prominent are:
* You may ding any even number greater than 1k, so long as you do not fail.
* You may ding other numbers if your ding thread is at least EPIC.
* You don't make a 10k failding. You just don't.
* Admin ding threads start as EPIC and go up from there.
A new rule I would like to propose:
* Asking if your ding thread is a valid ding causes instant fail.
Thoughts? Feelings? Do we need a ding threads nicene council?
