Not that I really care whether its anti-free speech or not, but isn't it the parent's responsibility to censor what their children see? How many children 8-12 are the first to the mail anyway?

Oh and BT, another reason for you to move to B.C., good weed and a political Sex Party.

Well we certainly don't need any 8-12 year olds running around all embarrassed.

Who knows what could happen?

Well, a lot of times I go get the mail and set it on the table without going through it first. Not only that, you know there will be kids who will find it and bring it to school to giggle over it. Plus I'm sure there will be a few who find themselves thrown on the ground and blowing around to be picked up by kids.

As for the whole, "Parents should censor what their kids see," that's a bit hard to do. When I was in school, I was off the bus and going inside with my older brother, we often got the mail, or he'd make me do it, before my mom got home. It'd be hard for a parent to be able to wrap their kid in that protective bubble 24/7.

I always imagine people that argue in such a manner to put on their "gimp" suit as soon as they get home.

I bet he's a freak.

I can see where you're coming from on that. I myself don't really have a strong opinion either way, but was hoping it might start something since its so damn slow in here.

Probably a lot. If the kids are the first ones to get home, it may be part of their routine to bring in the mail.

That doesn't mean I think it should change what is sent in the mail, though I'd love to do away with all the paper spam I get.

Why wouldn't they just put the pamphlet in an envelope and address it to the adults of the home. Problem solved...

BTW, I have recently caught my 8 yr old checking out the Victoria's secret catalog.

I asked him what he was looking at. He showed me and all I said was, "don't let your mom see you looking at that" and I walked away.

You know, I'd do the same thing, although it would be extremely hypocritical of me. Considering I'm a "yay" vote for equal rights for homosexuals. While I'd still love my child with all my heart, it would still be a relief to know that they are heterosexual. I'm not sure if that's relief for me, or relief for them not getting harassed by others.

It's not hypocritical as I will admit, I did do the same thing.

Do not get me wrong, if he was ghey, there would be nothing wrong with that and I would still love him. You see, carrying on the family name is very important to me. This was instilled upon me by my father and to him by his father. My only disappointment would come from the fact that his chances of carrying on the family name would be slightly diminished.

I'm in favor of the "yay" vote myself, but I still want my son to be hetero.

I'm pretty sure that's how karma's going to finally catch up with me though. My son's going to be so fru-fru gay that Chris Crocker would tell him he's trying too hard.

I want a manly man of a son that's all pervy like me.
