Was that in English?
It could've been, but let's see you try to get a grandma to find the reset button on the back of a router while typing Smiley: lol

My Gore sucked statement was comparable to your Bush sucks statements... What I'm saying is, you have no idea that he would have done any better. His politics are different, but what other 'disasters' would his views have lead to. There might not have been a war, but things could have gone far worse. There's no way to tell. Arg. I hate sucking with words, because it's hard to get my point across in a way that makes sense.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're saying that Bush doesn't suck as a president, and Gore might've gotten us involved in more hot water than Bush did.

Yeah... that makes no sense, really. You have no basis for this other than a "what if."

I can point at what Bush has done and show you what a **** up he is. You cannot do the same with Gore.

No. Bush sucks. I've got that. But when people bash him based on the assumption that anyone else would have a lot better, it bugs me.

There's time when I would've said the same thing Codyy, but I got bad news... that was 5 years ago...

I am sure everyone knows there are professionals who also claim its not going to play out like that. Problem is its the future and everything is merely a theory of possibilities. This theory just happens to play on some of the most imaginable nightmares possible.

One thing to add. If the temperature has been steadily increasing year after year. Why did we just have the coolest summer in recent texas history. It never hit 100 and it was rarely over 94 degrees.

Its not the temperature of any given area, its the average temperature of the planet.

Silly Ash. Texans think they are the planet.

Actually it's when the Aztec Calendar isn't the end of the world, it's when we all ascend and evolve to our next levels.

What's your point? I wasn't insulting him... is that what you thought? I just meant that his Nobel piece prize should actually represent a plethora of others involved in the cause, not just Gore himself.

Actually, that's exactly what happened. Gore didn't receive the prize alone, it was awarded to him AND the plethora of others (IPCC)

Climate =/= weather.

And global climate =/= local climate.

Actually, if you take the time to see his movie, he's got some pretty solid evidence that the CO2 rates in the atmosphere are steadily rising, and I don't think anyone worth their salt in their field would dispute that. Even opponents of Global Warming gudgingly admit that, from what I've read.

But even if you don't believe everything he's saying, it's worth it to watch the movie just to see the pictures of glaciers then and now... it's truly disturbing.

No, that was William Henry Harrison.

I'd argue Harding was worse than Buchanan, but it's a tossup.

Maybe. But Buchanan is my stock answer for "Who was ever worse than Bush?"
