Log In Issues.Follow

A few days ago I bought Final Fantasy XI 2008 Vanadiel Collection for PC. I installed it and everything to make sure I didn't miss anything. Now it will let me log into Playonline with no problem. After that, I go to where I play the game. Now here's what's wrong. Everytime I click on the Select Character tab. My screen goes completely black for a few seconds. Then it shows where I have my characters. But none of them show and then it logs me out automatically. And I carried my account from the PS2 to my computer (as where I was told I could.). I do not have Windows Vista, but Windows XP. And I do not know how old my computer is and what all hardware that is in it. I have messed with the configuration and everything in the Final Fantasy XI Config tab, seeing if I would get any luck out of that. But I still get logged out. Can anyone give me some ideas of what I did wrong or what I should do.

I checked the box and saved the settings. And I logged in and went to Character Select screen, and still the same problem. No characters showing up and still automatically logged out.
