Has anyone been brave enough to install WoW on a Windows 7 machine yet? If so what are your thoughts on it? Is going to be another Vista or is MS trying to redeem itself with 7?
Personally I am placing this on my secondary machine which I use to test new OS's, its not a machine that can even think of gaming lol.

Technically it's in the open Beta stage so most likely a lot of game won't work on it till there are specific drivers made for the OS.

Well ati has a set of preview drivers out for their cards. I went ahead and installed it on a backup drive to get a look see on the new OS. I am somewhat impressed so far, but the real challenge lies ahead with WoW and my 190 addons heh.
I tried out Windows 7 (64-bit). Installed FFXI with no problems. Installed WOW ok, however for some reason it locked the installation directory and would not allow the game to update. I ran the game from windows.old directory and everything ran ok.
