Troubles with Team Fortress Two?Follow

Hey all, I recently downloaded Team Fortress Two to my PC. I thought the game had pretty low requirements so I didn't check anything and just bought it. I turn out kind of right, but mostly wrong. According to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest the problem I have, that stops me from both recommended and minimum is my Video RAM. It says I have 64 mb (GeForce 6200). I know I have 256 mb. My step dad told me it was looking at shared memory, but i think that it shouldn't effect the gameplay.

The game is very slow, has troubles loading sometimes as well. In the beginning of a match (before picking your class) I have to mute the sound because it will just loop yells and explosions till I get to that screen.

I am in the process of upgrading the computer (RAM, Video Card, Motherboard, Hard drive) but that will all be finished at the absoulute soonest two weeks. I'd like to get this working before that.

(For the record, my computer also handles WoW: WotLK at 15-20 FPS with all slow settings. Peaks at 30 at optimal conditions [i.e first person camera facing a wall with no fire/people/monsters/anything near it])

If you need any other information, please tell me how to get it and I'll post it.

Thanks alot!
~JD
