PC issueFollow
My mom's BF has a PC that he no longer uses. The reason for that is because when it starts up, it goes to the Windows 2000 screen and that's it, no further. I said, I would be more than happy to take it and fix it, seeing as they have their own. So now I come to you and ask you is there a way to fix sed computer? There is no Recovery Disks at all. Is there something I can do to get it up and running, or somehow get XP on that PC?

Have you tried starting it in safe mode usually F8 during start up before you hit the windows loading screen. Yy parents computer did that when we installed mcafe virus program. It might be a program that did not load properlly or somthing that is corrupted. I have a couple books from a computer class I took that I can look in when i go back to work tomorrow and see what they say.
