Yup, my parents live in a small town, and I'm hoping the local super market will have copies of TOR that aren't saved to pre-orders only. So I'll be going down there on Tuesday to see. Otherwise, I might have to wait because I don't have a debit card for the bank down here yet, and I have no idea how long it'll take one to get in. Can't use a check on the internet unfortunately. =x

Rio, why does it take you that many levels to figure out you don't like your body type?

I went with a skinny Sith Pureblood for my Inquisitor during the beta, and I loved it. Thin seems to fit the theme of a caster I think, and I just loved her attitude. I can't wait to recreate her. Smiley: grin

It's not that it took me that long to figure it out, it's that it took me that long before it annoyed me enough to change it. I'm also really bad for deleting characters that I don't like the name of. I've probably had close to 700 characters in WoW, just because of how many I delete around the level 20 mark.

Digg, with regards to EVE and hybrid weapons, that sounds interesting.

My issue with lasers has always been that they took up so much capacitor. I might just have to go back to Gallente/Caldari. Just a shame that the two hybrid races focus more on non-turret weaponry. Either missiles as Caldari or drones as Gallente. Smiley: frown

Guess I could always get me a Thorax.

Back to the religion thing: If you guys find that interesting, the Dune series is worth a read, even if you're not normally into SciFi. There's an all woman group called the Bene Gesserit who have basically studied mankind to the point of making religions a science, and have on more than one occasion engineered and started one for their own benefit.

If I switch to TOR, I think I'm going with Agent again. The storyline is just freaking awesome, and Sniper sounds like a crapload of fun.

I watched Dune again a couple of weeks back and it's some psychedelic stuff. The movie is part sci-fi, part acid trip.

Yeah, I'm tempted to try one of each class on both sides, just so I can see the story lines. Or at least the starting area story lines. I'm not too thrilled with the BH/Agent starting area from what I've seen thus far, but that's because I really hate the Hutts. They just majorly gross me out. Oh, and the short little pig dudes grossed me out too. I had to skip the cut scenes for those quests because it majorly skeeved me out.

The movie is... polarizing. You really have to experience it in the original form with the book. Much less similar to an acid trip.

Yeah, I've wanted to read the novel, but I haven't been able to find the English version here.

I've been meaning to read that.

Mazra: Try Amazon? If there's no Amazon DK, try Amazon UK. Or order it through a bookstore, they normally do that.

I'd cheer for laziness, but don't feel like it.

Sup, Marvin?

While it's a horrible version of the Guide, the song never gets old!

OMG so excited for tomorrow!!!! One of my friends who has been in the game since the 13th told me that some of the servers are having queue issues. Hopefully Jekk Jekk Thar isn't one of them... But yeah, going to get up early in the morning and go buy my copy from the local supermarket. I went there today to see if they were going to have a midnight release event (they have for previous games) or how many copies they'd have, and the guy I talked to had no idea what I was talking about and just told me to check back tomorrow. They seriously need some young people in their electronics department. Or at least someone who knows a decent amount about electronics and computers in general.

There was a secondary conversation going on about the new Heroics and how mandatory they are, too.

But yeah. Anywho, my friends are making a huge pot of chili tonight. Yum.
