In <Aposematic> there's loads of high level shamans but no one wants to play them because they're not very fun. Needed, though, I think.

Priests rock. Lotsa fun, and awesome versatile healy types who get to MC stuff when bored.
Shammies are cool with the spell interrupts and reincarnation and stuff. I still feel tied to the totems every time I play mine though. The shammy we've brought to the last 2 raids is convinced he's only there cause we want heroism and totem buffs. I don't know who let that slip...

I've found a new love for warlocks myself. Nothing like seducing 1 guy, fearing another, and launching some engineering CC device at a 3rd while you're trying to defend an battleground node.

I think even with skill, shamans aren't really the highest DPS class for progression right now, and healing is dominated by trees and Beacon wonder paladins. And Kali spamming shields. In some fights, I can top the meters even when there's pallies and such. :3 lolhealingmeters

Being Horde and hiding on one of the Alliance boats out of Stormwind and MC'ing lowbies and running them off the boat so they have to swim ashore is a lot of fun :)
Especially if you have 3-4 stealthies waiting to pounce when some 80's come to the lowbies rescue!

I grew up in Mass then have lived out in Hawaii the last 8 years or so.
So it ends up being a mix of Pidgen, Mass and me just slurring a string of words that would be a sentence into a single word. Usually with some cuss words and half pronounced words blended in for good measure. It gets worse when I'm drunk or around people that also have a Mass accent or talk Pidgen.
Gets good when I have to yell at people in vent as I usually let others talk and explain. As my explanations are very bare bones and include of a lot of, 'If it looks bad avoid it' talk. So I usually only talk when everyone is ******* up.

Explanations should be short, as short as possible while remaining clear.

HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW!?" which is the RL failing to realize that it was actually his 25 minutes of nonsense surrounding the necessary explaining that caused people to not know.
edit: Make that 29 minutes for a smart group.
Also, I have actually had raidleaders who pretty much read the wowwiki article out loud over vent as explanation.
Like I ******* care for how much this AoE hurts? Just say don't stand in green stuff.
If you even need to say that at all, not standing in stuff on the ground is raiding 101.

I would explain Puti as follows.
Avoid sh*t that isn't in the room when the raid starts.
Puti tank hang out in the middle area. Everyone else, start on orange side, then go green ,then orange, etc. Until P3 attack Puti and oozes on the way.
Ooze control is main priority.
When the green one picks a guy, DPS the ooze tell its close then stack on the guy it is skeeting on unless your a healer.
If the orange one chases you run, everyone else kill it.
When someone says stop DPS on boss, stop.
Tanks know what to do in P3. Everyone else stay near existing green ground but no stand on it and go apesh*t on the boss. If your a shammy blow hero.
Avoid sh*t that might hurt you.
Get loot.

I'd write it something like (assuming the Abomination tank knows the drill):
P1:
* Don't stand in goo
* Nuke adds
* DPS stack on the green add's target
P2:
* Don't stand in orange cloud
* Move away when he casts goo
* P1 repeat
P3:
* DPS race
* Pop BL
* Tanks switch at 2 stacks once, then every stack
That's the Wowwiki tactics broken down, pretty much.
If the Abomination tank doesn't know how the fight goes, it's pretty much "eat goo, snare adds" and then off-tank P3.

Maz, I am the Abom. Is pretty sweet. Plus a 2H weapon makes Abom 3 button hurt more. So should be a DK or Durid. I attack the adds over Puti normally. Puti if he near and eating goo.
Your describe has P1 n 2 blending. Es no bueno. Also DPS has to last minute stack on green or pools under foot will happen and that is bad.
The tank swap on P3 is honestly w/e as long as neither goes over 5 which is the boom point.

I was guessing P1 and P2 did blend due to Wowwiki mentioning P1 carries over into P2, just with added effects. And aye, last-minute stacking didn't occur to me. Don't stand in goo will be hard when goo is on the green add target ^^
I'm assuming the tank rotation is for minimum damage taken vs. healing done to Putri.

The tank swap on P3 is to even out the damage being doled out to the raid. 2x 2 stack is less damage than 1x 4 stack.
Putricide only heals himself if one of the tanks dies or otherwise loses his stacks (bubble etc).

That makes sense.
I was never told why we swap.
Only that over 5 is explosions and bad. So trade stacks is good.
Was what us tanks would say when we had tank talk during the raid. Its like a game if whos of first.

You know when you have a friend who gets totally stoned/drunk and you and some mutual friends figure it's in everyone's best interests if you get the person home before something happens. Then once they are safe you can't help but take advantage of them for you own amusement.
Anyway that was /g last night. But the important thing is that our MT is safe, and everyone in trade chat was mildly amused by his attempts to sell his body for an ICC10 run through.
