Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon have been made available digitally on the Xbox market. Both are good RPGs for the 360. And both are backward compatible with the Xbox One.

But to celebrate the digital release, Lost Odyssey is free until the end of the year.
https://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Lost-Odyssey/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d5307fa?

Lost Odyssey is one of the better RPGs of last generation. And the better of the two games. You can "purchase" it for free online as long as you have a valid Xbox Live account (gold not needed) and it has a valid payment method attached.

Some decent sales going on the next few days. Steam has it's Winter sale, some highlights include Doom (the new one) for 19.67, Just Cause 3 for 14.95 (DLC three pack for another 8 and change), and The Division for 24.99. Personally, I'm tempted to pick up Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 year anniversary edition for 29.99, but I know if I wait for the Summer sale I can get it for half that.

GMG also has sale going on. They have some very respectable discounts on some fairly new games like Dishonored 2, BF1, Steep, etc. You can add an extra ten percent off of the sale prices by user voucher code "WINTER10". Dishonored 2 is a bit tempting, with the voucher it's down to 35 and change, which is as low as it's likely to be until the DLC start dropping for it.

Also, Humble Bundle store is giving away copies of Grid for the next day or so. Stop by and snag one if you don't already have it.

The latest Humble Bundle is pretty solid if you're into Assassin's Creed.

Pay what you want:
Assassin's Creed 1
Assassin's Creed Chronicles, China, Russia, and India

Beat the average (currently $7.65):
Assassin's Creed 2 Deluxe Edition
Assassin's Creed 3 with Tyrranny of King Washingtion: The Infamy DLC
Assassin's Creed Liberation HD

Pay $15.00 or more:
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed Unity

All of which requires Uplay of course.

Cause the absurd google filter wasn't enough. Now they have another filter (which is bugged all to hell).

Speaking of Humble Bundle, they have a Winter sale on right now, the highlight of which is a free copy of Dirt Showdown. It's available for a little over a day right now, so head over and snag a copy if you're so inclined.

If you're dropping $20 on The Witness, you can drop another tenner and get about a bajillion additional games.

Got around to firing up Horizon. It's good so far (couple hours in, few quests, side exploring). It doesn't seem to be nearly as open, character wise, as Skyrim. It's got a skill tree, and a menu with crafting (arrows and such only as of yet). So far I'm stuck with two weapons, a Spear and a Bow.

It's a very pretty game, as to be expected.

If you like the Western Action RPG genre, you'll more than likely like this game. First impressions seem to be a Borderlands/Skyrim mix. The story has potential. I like the setting, and the mystery of it all in the start. We'll see how that progresses.

I played the first bit of the tutorial. I'm way too early in into the game to have an opinion yet. I'll get into it a bit this weekend and we'll see how it goes.
