I quit sometime last year and Just recently I re-subscribed to SWG. My Composite armor and some of my weapons dont work now. The screen gives me "lack of certification" errors. I dont know what to do lol. All I had for my character was a bunch of composite armor, now its useless and im running around naked. Any possible insight would help.

You need too be certified too certain types of proffesions recon,battlearmor and ect like if your bounty hunter you have acces too Compisite and Bounty Hunter Armor.If you don't wanna be buying armor go too TKM now with /respec you get awesom defense and dontneed too wear armor anymore just cloths.Im sure going too Mos Eisley and doing the Noob quests thought will tel you most of what you need to know or ask around.

There is a one time armor conversion that you should be able to do. On the radial menu for the armor there should be an option to convert your armor. This will change the armor from composite or whatever it is to a type of your choice. Just choose something you are certified for as you can only do this once.
If the option is not there maybe they thought people had enough time to convert stuff, but I think it should be there on all armor that was made pre CU.
Otherwise you'll just have to sell your armor and buy new stuff.

I have comp armor that I have not switched over - it appears that it will keep giving you the option until you destroy or convert it
