I'm thinking of getting this game, but I've seen people on this board mention how big the first patch can be. What size is this patch, if anyone knows?
Can the patch be pauses/resumed? My connection's only around 64 kb/s so I'd only really be able to download during nights when it doesn't affect my hours quota.

I started to play this game about 6 weeks ago,it took me around 3 houres to download the patch with dial up modem.

i dont know what my connection is but it took me about 5-10min i think and that was a month ago
I have downloaded that patch with dial-up nad with broadband.
Dial-up was over 3 hours
Broadband was like 5-10 min

DSL- takes 18 mins to install the game and d/l the 4 patches at play screen the patch is pretty damn small so i dont know what ur talkin about just get it if u have played diablo 2 diablo 2 patch is bigger.... so ya.. itsn nuthin

Im pretty sure you can stop and start it over several hrs if you have some sort of time limit or download limit on your internet account. I got halfway through and lost connection and when i started again it resumed from where it was
Yes you can stop the download at anytime and it will remember where you are up to and continue from that point when you restart.
