Mastering Crafting professions.....Follow

Hi,
im pretty new to SQG (i week old - awwww)

here is my question,

i want to do jedi - but i wont to do it in a usefull way, so if i master the crafting proffessions first, and do all the schematics, do i get to keep all the schematics when i drop the profession?

if so - whats the point of anybody keeping the profession after they make all the schematics that they need?

can you only use a schemtic in a factory once?

first question you just answered it yourself no you do not get to keep the schematic because than they could just drop the profession and still have access to master stuff

and the schematic in a factory lets say you set the schematic limit for 1000 and your factory only builds 200 than that schematic IS STILL USEABLE just that no matter what you have to have the SAME EXACT resources you used to build the schematic

sorry - i confused myself, i didnt mean schematic.
I realise you will loose the schematic,

but do you get to keep all the factory schematics (i cant remember the name) blueprints?

so i could make a bunch of blueprints before i drop the profession, then that will do me for a while?

Schematics has two meanings. You have schematics in your datapad that represent the things you can make with your current skills. If you drop those skills, those will drop off your datapad and you will not be able to craft those items once you surrender those skills.

Factory schematics are things you make and they are resource specific. Those you could keep after you surrender the skills but they can only be used to make up to the number of items the schematic was designed for when you created it, and you need EXACTLY the same resources in order to use the schematic to make things. When I say exactly the same resources, what I mean is if you used the Copper called Asau (for instance) in the schematic, you would not be able to make items using any other copper, you would HAVE to have Asau in sufficient quantities to complete the run. Once used, these schematics disappear.

So in summary, if you learn crafting skills and then surrender the skills, you will no longer be able to craft those items.
