Best 3 person partyFollow

Warning. Yes, I am a noob, so feel free to talk to me like I am one.

My brothers and I are about to start playing and I was wondering what you all think would be the best 3 person party (race, class and spec). We plan on doing both PvP and PvE. I have only messed around with the game for a couple hours so need some good input from vets. If you would be kind enough to provide rationale with suggestions so I can learn from them it would be appreciated.

*side qestion* can you re-spec after you have decided?

Try warrior, priest, and rogue. Tank and healer and dps. Added benefit is your group can use all gear drops(cloth, leather, and mail/plate).

First, welcome to the game!

I've been playing since release, everyone has their own opinion, here's mine:

I would suggest you get 1 dps(damage dealer), 1 healer, and 1 tank.

Warrior - Tank: best pve tank, can dps if specced and equiped right
Paladin - Healer/Tank: best pvp healer, decent pve tank, decent pve healer
Hunter - DPS: strong and steady dps in both pvp and pve
Shaman - Healer/DPS: decent pve healer, decent pvp DPS
Druid - Healer/Tank/DPS: decent at all 3 in pve, usually stuck with healing at 60
Rogue - DPS: best pve dps, strong pvp dps but dies easy
Mage - DPS: strong pve dps, best pvp dps, dies easy in pvp
Warlock - DPS: decent pve and pvp dps, hard to play but most powerful pvp class
Priest - Healer: best pve healer, strong(best if he stays alive) pvp healer (dies quickly)

My suggestion:

Warrior, Paladin, Rogue

why? - warrior/pally combo is extreamly powerful and rogue can choose when to join the fight and give some major DPS
