Need Help with A Pet Question

Ok im a lvl 33 hunter and i own 2 pets a lvl 24 cat and a lvl 33 raptor i changed to a raptor thinking maybe my cat couldnt learn claw or bite but my raptor hasnt learn then neither.. what must i do to get these abilities on my pets.. i see many people under my lvl with pets that can do them .. did i miss a quest or something? must i change pets again?? TY for the help

you can find a pet trainer around near your hunter trainer

Yes i know i have all the stamina training and armor and resistance training but claw and bite never show up on the list

Claw and Bite are abilities that you the Hunter can learn from one pet and teach to another. What you have to do is find out which beasts have the skill you want your main pet(s) to have and then tame one and fight with it long enough to learn the skill from it. Then you dismiss that pet and get your main pet out and teach it the new skill the same way you teach your pet other skills.

I found that the Petopia site has great info for Hunters. It has lists of all of the trainable pet abilities and what animal to tame to learn each ability from.
