Hello, I'm a lvl 60 mage (alliance), and usually play on the server Khaz'goroth. I'm considering creating an alt. I'd like to be part of some of the action that goes on up close..so either a rogue or warrior comes to mind...any suggestions on which might be better? Also, it would be great if you could help me pick a race. I was thinking dwarf maybe, any ideas? Thanks for the help in advance :)
Also can anyone tell me how much fun a druid NE is?

I say get off Khaz'GoRoth, I transfered off and it's been wonderful. Khaz is horrible.
If you want something up close do a warrior or rogue defiently, maybe a hunter. Just depends on what exactly you want to do. If you want to stay a little ranged and do damage then play hunter, if you want mad DPS but in melee range, play a rogue and if you want to do crazy DPS or take mad amounts of damage then play a warrior.

Well I recently created a gnome rogue, and I find that it takes less than half the time to level up and kill stuff on my rogue, when compared to my warlock. If you want to be a class that attacks very fast and can quickly kill stuff, then choose a rogue. If you just want to be able to take a lot of damage, like madslane said, choose a warrior. But in my opinion, warriors aren't good for ANYTHING besides tanking.
Although if you choose to be a rogue, I'd recommend being a gnome, since they have an increased chance to escape from speed altering effects.

I was just in the same boat, my main is a 60 mage. I wanted another char and started with a rogue. I didnt really like it, so i made a druid. I am loving it, if you do make a druid dont give up before you get cat form at least. You can do a constant grind by simply popping out of feral, heal, and go back to fighting. It also solves your prob of warr or rogue since it can be both.
P.S i hate NE starting land so i got ported to SW land.
