Question about PaymentFollow

#1 Dec 04 2006 at 2:07 PM Rating: Decent
I downloaded the trial version of World of Warcraft and now I want to upgrade by buying the key online. But I only want to pay for the game with my credit card. After the free 30 days that come with buying the retail key are up, can I cancel my account and pay using the prepaid game cards I can get at a store?

Yes, you can change your payment method at any time using the Account Management link at www.worldofwarcraft.com

The change Payment Method tab only allows me to switch to a different card it seems. How would I go about making it so it won't charge me on the card at all and only use game cards when I enter them. I see where it says Add Game Card, but I want to make sure this won't charge me on the card for a later month or something.

Go to Payment and select Cancel Subscription. What this will do is remove your credit card from their records, yet you will be able to continue playing until the end of your purchased time. It simply prevents them from ever charging your credit card for a subscription renewal.

At any time between now and when your 30 days is up, go to Add Game Card; the game will not begin billing the game card time until after your current prepaid time is complete.

Example: If you have 15 days left before your subscription needs to be renewed and you add a 60 day game card today, you will have 75 days of game time available.
