Hopefully someone can help, my son plays this game none stop but recently starting having this problem with Internet Explorer .....it won't connect to the internet unless world of warcraft is connected ( which doesn't have a problem connecting online) we've done a virus scan found nothing ...reformatted his computer which worked for a while but it has started again......has anybody any ideas all appreciated thanks
I had this happen, but soon after reinstalling everything, it worked correctly.
Now im having a simple problem, with my internet stopping, and wont restart until i reload my computer. It has only started happing after this new downloader thing started.
Im blaming that.
If you load up wow, and turn off the downloader completely maybe that will help you. Instructions on how to do so, is beyond me. I would check for you, but im at work currently and cant.

just tried turning off downloader still doesn't work

Downloaded firefox same thing happened... then i realises it is actualy disconnecting me from my wireless router, but magically reconnects once WOW is signed on...so to keep connected WOW has to be in the background all the time... then soon as WOW is turned off the router disconnects......very very confusing.
call wow tech support, they are very knowledgeable. :)
