Plugin/Mod Question!Follow

#1 Dec 02 2006 at 12:31 AM Rating: Decent
Hey, my friend says he says this plugin mod that appraises an item automatically when he puts his cursor over it or something. I am absolutely rotten at setting prices for things at auction houses, and knowing if im getting a bad/good deal. Also it sucks when I'm out doing quests or grinding, and my inventory gets tight for space, and I don't know which items to take/leave because I don't know how much they're worth. Please give me link or something. Thanks.

Its called Auctioneer.

It lists the vendor buy price and sell price as well as the average buyout and bid at auction house..very handy

You have to scan the auction house when you install it and it takes about 20 minutes. And you might have to do it every few weeks or so just to keep the prices current.

My day trader scans twice a day, to keep prices current. There is usually some price fuctuation. I'd suggest at least daily scanning for the first couple of weeks afte installing Auctioneer, just to build a good database. If you wait weeks between scans, there will be a lot of "never seen at auction" items that you won't have good price information on. There are also price fluctuations during a week. Weekend prices tend to be higher than weekday prices, but you won't be able to tell that without daily scans.
